Rules say they needed to get four back into the centre bounce, so play can start. Given they had already broken the 6-6-6 I am not sure why the rest of the players didn't need to get back into position

 

Just had a look for the draft thread and found this.


The #1 pick was Pendles and he’s still going strong!

 

I think the lowest pick still playing, is Jarrod Witts picked by @snoz with pick 460

 

Could be the biggest bargain in draft history, that one.

 

Geez - looking at that spreadsheet I picked Jezza Howe at 301 for Darraweit. Would never have thought he'd still be running around.

 

What the hell was I thinking picking Brent Moloney and Matthew Jaensch!

 

I agree, it’s a stab in the dark at 460, and it took him a few years to come good but he has been really consistent since 2017.

Looking up the list from there, Sam Docherty at 329 by Chels was a nice pick. He made his debut in ORFFA season 2 and went on to have a great career, averaging over 92 for six straight seasons, and has just retired this week.

 

Two huge picks at 280 by @snoz and 292 by @ChiefRussell in Lachie Neale and Tom Liberatore respectively.

 

What can I say....teams go to water when they see us roll out of the sheds, or maybe fire up to play the Hoppers?
