Who will be 2011's rising star? I'm guessing everyone will say swallow. However who are the other contenders? Shuey? Tabscott? Caddy? Prestia? Heppell? Thoughts people

Always risky betting on medals in the pre-season but there are some tasty odds for the rising star. Swallow (7/4) is crazily short. This is one of the most open awards for years with lots of young guys likely to get chances. I like: Brandon Matera (33/1) Reece Conca (50/1) Shaun Atley (40/1) Dyson Heppell (25/1) All great value picks, I'm leaning towards Atley at the moment.
Can someone please refresh my memory as to what are the qualification rules for the rising star award. surly there are very good 2nd and 3rd year players that people have totally forgotten about
They have to have played less than 10 games at the start of the season, be under 21, and they can't have been suspended by the tribunal during the season.
Gee I wish Shuey wasn't so damn expensive this year. I had him all through last year in SC, not that it did me any real good. I agree with your sentiments Fryzie. I think he will be captain of WC one day. Get on him for NAB rising Star 2011!
