no worries, another field you could add - you may already have it planned but - when a player has byes scheduled.
You could put in a MOP (Marks of Opposition Kicks), this could help select defenders that mark more than spoil. It would be hard to get that stat though.
that would be awesome though if it could be found. they obviously do record that, but i wouldnt know where to find it.
Haven't gotten any further with these, just want to add "Average in win" and "Average in loss", maybe even "Average at home" and "Average away"

Quote from Lucas on February 16, 2011, 14:35 Possibly PPG average vs last season + or -
This ^ and maybe some longer term stats like Career Avg, High, Low and 3 Yr Avg, High Low.
As in something which compares their current average to what they were averaging at that point last year? or comparing it to what they averaged for all of last year?
@walesy, Not a new field, just a minor suggestion. The highlight showing which page you are currently on is a bit indistinct or I need new glasses. It is handy to know when you have done the "b's" and want to jump to the "t's". As for TOG, why not rip it straight of F. Freako who has this every week? Can't be any copyright on it. Work involved? Share it around.
In fact, if the list of page numbers also showed underneath "Af-Be" it would be close to puuuuuuuuurfect.

Comparing it to the previous end of season average will provide a quick reference point as to whether or not the player is worth keeping an eye on as a potential upgrade target in the near future(low point), if the expectation was his average would increase. *use to identify underperformance While comparing it to the same round last year (might be tricky with the byes) is a nice idea for players that tend to start slowly then gather pace as the season progresses - will help to identify this a bit more too as years go by. Will need to be careful interpreting this though, as the teams they will have faced will be different from year to year.
when I click on a players name, I'd prefer it went straight to his stats, rather then his profile. I never really look at the profiles unless I'm looking for something specific, like a d.o.b or something. Is there a way to change this, or maybe make it optional?
Second what bonesy said about the profile page. But I think Walesy might be looking to encourage people to populate those profiles? My request is about the fact that once you're on the stats page, you can't actually navigate to another player's stats page directly. You can only add another player's stats to the graph. It would be good if you could then remove the first player's stats somehow.
Yeah, I've been thinking about putting the a stats link on the stats page, much like the calculator link. Though I do need to remind people about the profiles! Haven't seen many new ones go up recently. Jason, you mean on the Graphs page? yeah, it would make sense to be able to at least hide the guy that you've gone in to look at- just from a usability angle. I'll add it to the list.

I think the hardest part of all this analysing we do is trying to find eveness and consistency but there are so many variables. So I guess whatever we look at to some extent we have to rely on instinct and gut feelings.
