I'll give a "by" date asap, but for now cull the geese you know are cooked, or the ones you wish were Delists due by Monday 16th 10pm Factor in the fact that you will be gaining 2 or 4 players from 2 or 4 of the ghost ships, which # it should be known in the next day or so. Also consider that we are definitely moving to 30 player lists, we can duck and dodge around bye weeks all we want, but as we have an upcoming weekly bye we may as well make the move now and iron out issues During the season I'll try to get everyone's input on future delist sizes, possible changes to playing list size or shape and afew other things that life has prevented me from doing properly this preseason.
Sorry for posting questions in the delist thread but probably the best place to get visibility. Seeking clarification as there has been a lot going on obviously. 1) Are we delisting to 20 (the prior standard), 22 (to allow for 2+6 draft picks for a 30 squad), or some other number of players? 2) Is/was there a pre-draft trade period? I guess that starts now until the delist deadline?
Appologies mate, doing this on the fly, which I hate. Now that we have gone to 16 teams I think that if we draft to 30 in one PSD the last two rounds will be a game of blindman's bluff.. So delist to 20 per normal, draft 2 and 6. then one mandatory MSD round this year with no delist requirement, ie lift to 29 as there are always players that come to light unexpectedly by then. Add the final list spot in next years PSD where we delist 6 and draft 7, ie down to 23, then draft to 30 Re trades the current rules state trade period starts when SC player positions are known, and ends one week before draft. Doesn't really suit this years muddy waters, but happy for trading to continue up the delist deadline I started working out draft dates and got sidetracked by the fact that we had no up to date team lists, I have just finished that, hopefully with minimal cockups and will get dates etc up in the next hour or so
