For those wanting to read the previous discussion on this matter: http://tooserious.net/forum/threads/the-vote-list-change-rules.91587/ My big concern is that the removal of a required list turnover may reduce engagement. From a wholistic perspective, not an equalisation perspective, we're all here for a common love of fantasy footy, but none of us are being paid to be here, and we all have jobs and families and other external forces to manage. By forcing 4 list changes per year, we're making an effort to force some involvement and engagement on coaches. The basic theory of "some activity creates more activity". I'm worried that if we remove this, its easy for a coach / team to stay idle for say two years, no trades, no drafting, nothing. That apathy could then breed more apathy, and then the league falls apart. We can't obligate anyone to do anything. As shown by the match reports... But if we try to force some list turnover, its likely to keep everyone involved, engaged, active, and then the natural and organic trades and drafting will grow.
