    Hi All,

Those of us involved in TS keeper leagues have increasingly dealt with idle teams across early an midseason AFL bye rounds.

In response we have decided to trial a 10 aside modified ORFF* format competition over the 7 multibye rounds in 2026
    • ORFF* 10's (or Tens) team format is 2D-4M-2F-2IC (no R line) - with 1 emergency per line if teams can field over 10 players, as usual OOP in D/M/F = 50% points only
    • The squad used is the same as the team's ORFFL/ORFFA/ORFFU/ORFFF squad of 28 or 30 players
    • The competition format is a pseudo-Double Elimination Comp held in 4 and 8 team bye rounds
    • TSleagues won’t support the comp so all scores will be manually calculated by participating team coaches and posted in a dedicated ORFF* 10’s competition thread
    • OR team scores (with perfect hindsight post OR) used for Comp Seeding teams ranked 1-8 receive a double chance/easier path and teams ranked 9-16 must win 6 consecutive elimination matches, teams ranked 17 onwards based on OR scores do not qualify for the comp
    • Round 2 onwards match schedule as per diagram and teams to be named by Friday night lockout
    • H2H matches rds2-3 eliminates 8 teams
    • Rd12 is Minor Premiers GF (match 15) and 3 more Elimination Matches (Matches 16-18) in the right hand bracket
    • Minor Premiers rests in Rounds 14&15 and plays the Grand Final in Round 16 against winner of the 4 right hand bracket survivors
    upload_2026-3-1_14-24-34.png

Please sign up below by posting your ORFFL/ORFFA/ORFFU/ORFFF team name and the competition they play in.

Please note that coaches with multiple team can only enter once for this competition so please make a choice.

Entries close at 9pm Melbourne time on Thursday 5th March, or whenever we reach 24 entries (noting 16 will qualify for the competition proper).

The field of 16 is as follows:-
FL - Wanderers, Magicians, Knightriders, Bullfrogs
FF - 29ers, Noahs, Boozers, Whales
FA - Devils, Cockatoos, Grasshoppers, Packers

Gariwerd had a great start with Max holmes 121 but warburton have had some big ins this week and they all scored well. Fiorini a late out gives gariwerd some small hope if walsh doesn't play final game. Warburton hoping we can break the magical 1000 mark if everything goes right.

The Hoppers @snoz finished with Z Guthrie (40 as an in for the injured Saad), Weitering (95) and Cripps (92) to be 10/714 all out

JHF scored 75 and the 29ers scraped their way to 10/854 and a 140 point win over the undermanned Hoppers side.

In round 12 the Hoppers play in match 18 vs the winner of this weeks (match 14) clash between the Whales and the Bullfrogs.

Also in Round 12 the 29ers will face off in match 15 vs the Wanderers @EddieV to determine the winner of the single elimination bracket.

@stripey I couldn't find either Ethan Read or McAuliffe in the team lists this week so have dropped in emergency scores. Assuming this is right the the Bullfrogs scraped home by 12 points

I am on my way to work and don't have the player by player scores with me but can report that @Mick 's Blowfies recorded a convincing victory over my Devils to progress to the last eight. Forward Shaun Mannagh and midfielder Jack Steele both reached triple figures for Cradle Mountain but it didn't help CMD as the Blowflies had a Mannagh and Steele of their own to match these scores.
