    The "Identity Theft" Matchups

Wagga Wagga Wombats (1226) def. Mount Beauty Uglies (1026)

The Wombats found their high-performance variant this week. Luke Davies-Uniacke (125) and Jack Ginnivan (125) played like they were the main characters, while the Uglies' midfield looked like a grainy photocopy.
    • The Prime Twin: Zak Butters (145) – The only one in Mount Beauty who didn't look like a blurry imposter.
Lovely Banks Lilacs (1144) def. Cradle Mountain Devils (1033)
Isaac Heeney isn't a human; he’s a glitch in the code. His 196 is the kind of score a doppelgänger produces when they’re trying too hard to blend in. The Devils’ Dayne Zorko (36) clearly sent his much older, much slower twin to the ground instead.
    • The Prime Twin: Archie Roberts (145) – A mirror image of perfection for the Lilacs.
Gariwerd Cockatoos (1252) def. Nareewillock Nuffers (11192)
A close one, but the Cockatoos’ Max Holmes (138) was the superior variant. The Nuffers had Ed Richards (109) coming off the bench like a surprise twin reveal in a soap opera, but it wasn't enough to bridge the gap.
    • The Prime Twin: Blake Hardwick (125) – Solid as a rock, unlike the Nuffers' missing forwards.
Gundagai Grasshoppers (1358) def. Venus Bay Vultures (933)
This wasn't a game; it was a kidnapping. The Grasshoppers are the "Prime Timeline" team. Lachie Neale (132) and Jy Simpkin (125) ran riot while the Vultures’ Luke Parker (129) sat on the interchange bench, watching his evil twin do absolutely nothing for the starting squad.
    • The Prime Twin: Isaac Kako (113) – A rare spark in the Vultures' dark mirror universe.
Junee Jaguars (1257) def. Wineglass Bay Packers (1254)
THE CLOSEST GLITCH YET. A 3-point margin! The Packers had Finn Callaghan (135) playing out of his skin, but the Jaguars' Sam Berry (121) and Aaron Cadman (119) proved that the Jaguars are the true residents of this reality.
    • The Prime Twin: Bodhi Uwland (107) – Tried to save the Packers, but the mirror shattered too early.
Birdsville Battlers (1155) def. Shark Bay Tigersharks (1145)
The Battlers won because Bailey Smith (151) is clearly a bionic doppelgänger designed in a lab. The Tigersharks' Tom Atkins (133) did his best to fight off the invasion, but the Battlers' depth was too spooky.
    • The Prime Twin: Harry Sheezel (127) – The only Shark who knew which way to kick.
Charlies Opening Spelunkers (1287) def. Iron Knob Codpieces (981)
The Spelunkers found the "Ultimate Version" of Zach Merrett (127) and Luke Jackson (125). Meanwhile, the Codpieces' Mabior Chol (12) was definitely an evil twin from a dimension where goals are illegal.
    • The Prime Twin: Josh Rachele (127) – A lonely hero in the Iron Knob wasteland.
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties (1198) def. Waikickamoocow Incorrigibles (1115)
The Incorrigibles' Zac Bailey (130) was a man possessed, but the Lefties utilized the "Twin Power" of Darcy Parish (137) to cruise home. The Cow’s Josh Ward (47) might actually be a cardboard cutout.
    • The Prime Twin: Willem Duursma (105) – Leading the Lefties' charge into reality.

    The "Double Vision" Awards

    Award Player Score Reason
    The Alpha Variant
Isaac Heeney 196 Clearly the original model. All other players are mere shadows.
The Glitchy Substitute Luke Parker 129 Scoring 129 from the bench is a classic "evil twin" move.
The Vanishing Act Kane McAuliffe / Mt Beauty Fwds - Did they even exist this week, or were they erased from the timeline?

    Nice work Lenini.
This is rare ladder air for the Lefties as we sport a favourable win/loss ledger.
Just gonna take this lid of and quietly sit it next to me, in arms reach…
