Full time at Junee Could have been a thrashing but the Buffaloes made the mistake of fielding 4 giants who managed an average of 50. Junee limping to irrelevance this year, as expected, while Serengeti have won three of their last five and are in a log jam for 8th.

Very sorry for the delayed report @Mick It was a matter of look away now for both coaches, as the two finals hopefuls put on a dismal display in the Goldfields. The home team came away with the win, by a rather convincing 97 points, but the way in which the game was played will have both coaches questioning their sides leading into the final few games of 2026. The highly vaunted Coolgardie defence was a shadow of itself, with only J Sicily putting in a note-worthy performance. N Wanganeen-Milera was well short of expectations, which had the coached worried from the begining. For the Korumburra defence, only C Daniel turned up to play, with the remaining three defenders all falling below average, punctuated with a low of 22 from N Vlastuin. Coolgardie won the line by 65 points. The midfield saw a decent turn-around, with Prospectors' C Serong, T Miller, and O Wines all topping the ton. On the flip side, the Blowflys' J Dunkley turned back the clock, while N Daicos continued on his merry way, with both topping the ton. Coolgardie won the line by 36 points. The rucks was a close, dour, uninspiring affair, with a lot of wrestling and gamesmanship, but not a lot of tap-ruck prowess on show, as the visitors Xerri took a narrow win over the locals McAndrew. The Coolgardie forwards were up-and-down, with P Wright and J Waterman up and about, while J Ginnivan only bothered to play half the game, and was looking proppy on the track this week. The Korumburra forwards were more down than up, with T Kelly putting in one of his two annual starring performances, while the rest of the boys tried the work-from-home option, to no avail. Coolgardie won the line by 38 points. The interchange for both sides was a highlight, with A Aliir topping the ton for the locals, and J Peatling and M D'Ambrosio falling just short of a ton each for the visitors. It was the shining light in a rather dismal game for the fans. Korumburra won the line by 35 points. Both sides were well below projected, with many players well below average, and its one that both coaches will hope is just a once-off and now out of the system heading into the finals. This was not a game of two top-four sides, this was a debacle that needs to be wiped from the pages of history.
