The three time reigning premiers the Neptune Noahs are lining up in their 9th ORFFF Grand Final and 5th in succession, holding a 24-6 finals record, with 11 consecutive finals victories, and a 4-4 Grand Final record.

Their challengers are the second first-time Grand Finalists since 2021, after the Magpies managed to be the first in a long while last year, the young, brash and exciting minor premiers the Black Swamp 29ers who having lost their first 3 finals are now 5-5 all time.

Yep the Noahs have played and won almost as many Grand Finals as the 29ers have finals, and with a lazy 12-2 Head to Head advantage including 2016 Qualifying Final and 2024 Preliminary Final victories the task looks as tough as it can be for the first time Grand Finalists.

Both teams have been affected by the real life Sydney Swans suspensions and will call on their depth players to rise to the occasion with the ORFFF title on the line.

@That KI Guy - 4 in a row would be quite the achievement but the hometown 29ers will be fighting for every last SC point and are riding a 13 match winning streak into the last game of the 2026 season as we seek to join Neptune Island, Mt Thirsty, Maralinga, Walpole and Mole Creek (now Stony Ponys) on the list of ORFFF premiers in the competition's 11th season.

Noting again that full lockout is the FRIDAY NIGHT (Bris vs Coll) game, so loop away on Thursday night with Suns vs Saints clash as you wish.

(Please post our teams below as well as in TSleagues)

It wasn't lost on me that the Shags recently traded Blakey to the 29ers and Bice to the Noahs.

We're trying to build a strong culture at the Shags, definitely prioritising it over winning games of football.

Good luck to both grand finalists! Should be a great game.

    Thanks for the preview TTH.
Definitely next level carnage with general resting mixed with injuries compounded by Sydney fallout. Both sides have copped a whack here so hopefully we can still look forward to a fairly even contest.
    Best of luck @TheTassieHawk
