After last night's game, Cow Bay holds a 210 point lead with an extra 2 players having taken the field.

Injured Croc Sheezel has been helping out in the coaches box, planning midfield rotations and matchups.

Early days yet. The fat lady won't sing for a couple more days.

At quarter time, Cow Bay holds a 332 point lead over Blanchetown and have had an extra 3 players take the field.
Silvagni's injury affected 27 hasn't helped last year's FU premiers but the Bunyips have 10 players suiting up on Saturday including the 100+ averaging Gawn, Walsh, Dawson and Dale.
Cow Bay will have 4 taking the field including Rankine, Taranto and Bolton.

At the close of Super Saturday, which has seen 14 of the named players take the field, the Bunyips hold a 46 point lead and have had an extra 3 players take the field.

Blanchetown has seen some triple figure scores from Gawn (171), Walsh (122), Keays (117), Dawson (111) and Freijah (107). However, performances from Miller (43), Atkins (44) and Taylor (34) will cause a few concerns for the coach.

Not to be outdone, the Crocs have had Rankine (187), who seems to be relishing the FU Finals atmosphere, put in another almighty performance for the 3rd week in a row. Taranto (146) and Dempsey (126) also tonned up.

    Still to come:
    Blanchetown - Hardwick, LDU
Cow Bay - Burgoyne, Mackenzie, Moore, McGrath, Campbell

It's full time and the Crocs have won it!
I'll wait until the official scores come out but it looks like the Crocs have pulled out a club record score in the final week of the FU season.

Wow. Just… wow. I’m still taking it in. At the start of the year I genuinely didn’t think this team had a premiership in it. I thought to myself "no playing ruck, one premium mid short, a few players probably in the last handful of years". I honestly thought I’d be slowly dismantling the list over the next couple of seasons and hitting the draft, hoping Sheezel would still be firing and Green would emerge. How wrong I was.

Massive congratulations to Marty for making it all the way to the final week. It’s never fun being on the lower score, but you’ve built a formidable side and came incredibly close to going back to back. Well done to every other finalist for cracking the top eight and getting a taste of FU finals this year.

A big thank you to JPK for steering the ship as our commish. There was that one offseason where I completely disappeared and forgot FU even existed. You reached out, checked in, and because of that email I’m still here. I genuinely appreciate it.

Finally, thank you to every coach in this league. The drafts, the trades, the weekly team submissions, the match reports. All of it keeps this league alive and makes it something special. With the bumps I’ve hit over the last six years, this has been a constant source of enjoyment and a genuinely meaningful part of my year. I’m grateful to be part of it.

    Well done mate, congratulations!

I thought I could overcome Silvagni, but as soon as Taylor went down, I knew I was cooked. The fact that you busted out a 1600+ score, I realised I was never in it! I am actually glad you scored that well, because if I lost by one point with the piss poor performances from Atkins and co, I would have been real cranky!

    Another great season, thanks everyone!

Well done @fresh, well deserved and what a week to pull out a 1600+.

Another big season for the bunyips after their remarkable rebuild @martyg.

And @tyze1 a bit stiff after scoring the most points to have to come up against the premiers to be in the first final with a rampaging Rankine.

Well done to @fresh and the Cow Bay Crocs on taking out the 2026 ORFFU Premiership, with an imposing 1600+ score! Talk about timing the run impeccably.

Commiserations to @martyg and the Blanchetown Bunyips, who have been the team to beat all year. I guess the only real consolation, is losing to such a huge score means that it wasn't the fault of any of those 50-50 player selection calls you were second-guessing yourself with all week.
