Started Toy over Duigan, and for some reason the GCS start one of their most effective ball users as the sub. Absolutely filthy... Lower and Krakoeur would have affected everyone so that's not a big deal. After 1 and a half rounds my team is looking worse for wear. Had Goddard Captain 2 weeks in a row, and really need to bring in perma-captain material (aka Swan) My team is Gibbs, Goddard, Lower, Deledio, Grimes, Adcock, Toy Bench: Duigan, Stanley, Otten Pendlebury, Cotchin, Murphy, Libba, Didak, Swallow Bench: Bewick, Harris, J. Selwwod Sandi Petrie Bench: Vickery, Smith Rioli, Tapscott, Krak, Riewoldt N, Darling, Franklin, Yarran Bench: Matera, Richardson, Knights 89, 900 in the bank Now. I don't know why i have vickery, and i wont try to justify it, but the lack of a captain is starting to hurt. The players i'm looking to bring in Cox Swan Warnock Curnow The players i'm looking to trade out Vickery ( for warnock or cox) Didak (for swan) and possibly bring in curnow I wonder what will happen when Cox goes up against a good ruckman, and whether Natinui will be eased into more rucking duties. Also, what will happen when Krezuer comes back and the impact on Warnock, who will play forward? And can McLean and the like take Curnow's spot? What trades should i make! Cheers
You could look at McEvoy aswell for only $300K. Has started the season with 100 & 113 and is going to be the number 1 ruck for lot more of the season.. Is playing over 80% of the games so fAr, up from 60% last year.. Gotta get on the Curnow train, even if it's only for few weeks when McLean comes back as his price will sky rocket with his tons in system so far.
Bazza, put Pendlebury as your Captain, no problems. He is in awesome form at the moment. Apart from your rucks, there is no need for any emergency trading from where I sit. It would appear that your only real problem has been bench and Captain selection to date, and a bit of a hole at R2. My thoughts are you don't need any major overhaul trades mate. Just get yourself a R2 that is a keeper and you'll be fine.
@sainter - if I were you I would do none of the above smedts is out injured this week - so you WILL be copping a donut in the DEF unless def for def trade - boumann/wilkes to morris/hombsch/guthrie/bower/m clarke/mohr/delaney/brennan (if named) or def for fwd trade - swinging Smedts forward via DPP - folou/walsh to morris/hombsch/etc etc
@Tassie Ah, thank you, I didn't realise Smedts was out, I like the look of Morris, so out Boumann, in Morris.
I'm guessing they haven't been released yet (stupid channel 7). I know Smedts and Stokes are late withdrawals but nothing else known yet.
