Last 4 games from potential captains against whoever they're playing this round. Swan vs Carlton 113 152 90 136 Pendles vs Carlton 115 139 150 131 Murphy vs Pies 114 79 98 109 Gibbs vs Pies 95 90 143 102 Judd vs Pies 106 85 141 100 Goddard vs Bombers 147 133 117 93 Deledio vs Hawks 126 136 163 144 If there's one week that you were going to put Barry Hall as captain (if you were brave enough to pick him), surely this week against the Suns would be it. I think Deledio has the speed and skill to run rings around the Hawks slow back line again (and i'm a Hawthorn supporter). Pendles is probably the safe option based on historical data, but i have Swan not Pendles so i think i'll be going with LIDS! Your thoughts?
I definitely wouldn't be trusting Buddy, and Goddard hasn't got off to such a great start just yet... I have Swan but i still like Deledio as captain. In my cash league i'm against someone with both Swan and Pendles. Probably a safe option to go with the guns - and my risks this season have so far, not paid off (Everitt and Kennedy are out the door this week, for Curnow and Enright).
As i said last week leave Swan as Captain all year. a big risk not having him captain. He seems unstoppable right now. if you change captain do so at your peril
Might go with Pendles this week. Don't have Swan and to me Judd seems a long off getting 130 plus which is what ideally you want your captain to be getting.
No Swan either for me. Just switched from Goddard to Pendles although will read Jasmines Captain Review with interest before locking it in.

Quote from vortex08 on April 4, 2011, 15:06 What's the stats on Bartel and Selwood vs Port?
Bartel vs Port: 113 126 75 60 Selwood vs Port: 70 80 148 93
swan im sure... but thinking selwood after rest he will be iching to get out there ... plus at skilled ..... hmmmm could be good one
Really you can't go wrong with the top dozen mids I reckon. Judd, Swan, Pendles, Goddard, Selwood etc etc Pick one of these and let the good scores roll.
Like some, I don't have swannie. So it'll be Pendles but I would consider Deledio as well. He has been fantastic in the past couple games against the Hawks. Just see what happens later on in the week
My view on teams playing GC, not sure you will see massive scores 150+ ,the blues last week shared the load of a lot more with the highest scorer think 133. If you have Swan you go him , but I don't. Would love to go Joel but his injury it's a big call, pendles looking good for me ATM.
I agree with you Liquid.... Boyd and to a lesser extent Cross, would make a great POD Captain this week. If I had either of them, I would be tempted to gamble.... alas, it's the tried and tested Swan for me.... unless Jasmine can convince me otherwise of course.
Hmmmm no Swan Pendles Goddard (surely due for a BIG score & back at the roof) Lids, will he get a job? Cyrill may have let the Tigers off the hook if suspended. Someone's gotta take Buddy, Roughie, Hale & co. Cyrill could well be a POD at the spacious "G". Appeal it fellas, appeal it!!
Surprised how many people have said they dont have Swan (I am one of these fools). Its been horrible watching him play amazing footy from the start of the year, was hoping to see his price drop and then pick him up.. Now it looks like i will be getting further and further away from the leaders each week. I was 1,300.00 off turning monty into swan, fail.
