Now that Round 3 lockout is upon us and considering all the discussion of potential trades this week, what trades did you finally decide on? For Licky My Nutz, I made a bold move in a hope to catch some points from those that have Rioli sitting on the pine. Time will tell if it pays off. IN: Chapman, Curnow OUT: Harvey, Atley
In: Shuey Out: Foley Broke one of the trade rules but looking at Shuey, he's been a gun and doesn't look like slowing down. Already have a few cash cows in the likes of Libba, Harris... should pay out big time
IN: Tapscott OUT: Richardson Richardson was probably a slow burner. Not sure about his JS, so had to go Tapscott, got plenty of cash cows wondering the field now. Mooo
After days of indecision, took Curnow for Prestia. Pretty happy just at the minute as curnow looked like a good player again tonight, and price should climb over the next month - JS looks assured for now. Also have Tappy, Heppell, Libba, Harris and now Duigan who seem like they're going to rise significantly by trade up time. Pretty pleased really...
@ Benny C, bad decision Foley looks to be finding form and did better than shuey this week, You wait until he plays bad teams he'll dominate

Bold move sideways trading Montagna, could pay dividends though. Montags needs a break out game. I went the common Atley/Hibberd to Curnow/Libba and was happy with the results. Broughton is annoying me, but it was a down week for backs. However not sure i've seen him in the mids much. Broughton to Adcock or Bob Murphy looks appealling, but probably a stupid move.
Monty's 96 ave not good enough? wasted trade long term, i reckon (and hope, coz he's in one of my teams) My team - OUT: Toy, Bewick. IN: Martin, Libba. Had Curnow & Tapscott, so just hoping those guys mooooo to the extreme (like Mountain Dew extreme...). My "wife's" team (TS Trading League)- OUT: Hibberd, Richardson. IN: Libba, Tapscott.
Just running a thumb over the above and there is a slight air of desperation in some of these trades, which might have been better considered if proposed in the forum before lockout. Joey - Chappy sideways for short-term gain. Harvey - Chappy ditto. Foley - Shuey sideways and it hurt. Richo - Tappy costly move as FWD rooks are scarce. Some pain. Prestia - Curnow costly move. Less pain. OUT: Duncan - you have got to be kidding? Most of the advice on TS was to go for Curnow/Libba/Tappy, but on the basis of correcting rookie choices (i.e., Dixon for Tappy, Atley for Curnow, etc.), not to sacrifice rooks who were getting regular game time and doing okay.
