just like some feedback wether this is a traDe worth doin considering st kildas shocking form and likely slide down the ladder
I wouldn't, Clay. I can see your reasoning, but both are great players and it is too much of a sideways move for my liking. I could entertain the idea if you were trading to Swan, as he'd net you additional points. Stick with him, mate. I've written a few articles elsewhere already suggesting that 2 of StKildas first 3 games were always going to be ugly for the Saints. I still don't think they're going to fall in a heap or anything, and even if they do, Joey is a good player and is still capable of scoring highly. Keep an eye on Hodge, though. He could be a nice upgrade target later on (with the round6 bye, it's another reason to not bring him in as you're probably missing enough players as it is that week).
Are you sure Hodge will end up having an average of 20+ points per game more than Montagna at the end of the year? If the answer is no, then the answer is no. This increase in output per trade is what you should be aiming for.
nope. not only is it sideways, but hodge has a bye coming up. Trust in Joey, he'll come good. St Kilda have started badly, but they won't stay that way. Once they start winning means more points to the team, means more inside 50s which Joey leads the Saints in and means more score assists to big Roo. So stay firm IMO.
cheers fellas. thanks for the advice. jus traded underperforming jolly joke to cheapo bellchambers. now have a cool 500k in kitty for upgrades wen they are needed. was considering swan but hav pendles in middle already so that wont happen till collingwoods 2nd bye at least.
