I can understand keeping Goddard through his recent poor form although I'm glad I didn't start with him this year. However after that 49 score, and his inability to score over 100 this year; surely it must be an idea to trade N Riewoldt? Perfect time after Chappy's bye to upgrade?
forwards always have big downers dont they. As soon as nick gets over the fact that he will end his playing days without a premiership the sooner he can get out there and just play some decent footy i reckon. i think i'll keep him, have more pressing problems.
Too scared that if I dump him he will start ripping out the 100+ scores. Everyone is in the same boat, so I would hold.
I'm with Nick here. I have given plenty of thought but it's a scary thought: dropping him after being through such an awful path only too see him rip it up in the 100's. Exact same though with Gibbs as well
No one wants to be the guy who dropped him right before he got back into scoring ways. Secondly, most have him so it's not going to be a massive loss in many leagues to persevere. I'll keep him.
even thought he has been ordinary before this week his avg was 94 - i got roo - rok - goodes they all have a shocker every now and then only this week they all had it at once cream will rise to the top like jason said got bigger problems than roo - gibbs is one of them but he stays ....for now.......
I think if you drop him now you will end up getting him back in at some point. I still think may scrape top 7 fwds.
I am thinking about trading him in for Nathan Fyfe i know its a bit of a side trade but way i look at it i paid big bucks for him hes not delivering St. Kilda vs. Carlton this week so more than likely another loss for saints so hes going to lose more dollars likely take hit on a little loss now before it gets worse pick up a dual player with avg over 110 maybe trade Nick Riewoldt back in later in he pickups and your cash cows are paying of ?
Clancee Pearce has been awesome in WAFL DISPOSALS: 28 (19 kicks, 9 handballs) MARKS: 10 TACKLES: 3 INSIDE 50s: 4 LAST 3 DISPOSALS: 33 MARKS: 13 TACKLES: 4 INSIDE 50s: 5 GOALS: 1 DISPOSALS: 26 MARKS: 16 TACKLES: 6 INSIDE 50s: 5 GOALS: 1 DISPOSALS: 22 MARKS: 9 TACKLES: 1 INSIDE 50s: (Appaently none?) GOALS: 1 Been great in the WAFL and clearly in Swan District's best 3 players this year. LISTEN UP FREO!
feel sorry for saint nick , every time the ball goes forward he is in a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 ( and not in a blue movie sense ) and gets smashed pillar to post what gets me is i can never see the saints 2 extra players when nick is getting triple teamed think the coach would take advantage of that . but yer im stuck with saint nick and gibbs , and unfortunately without another 4 trades spare im going to be living with them lets hope he has some ripper games after 50 % of people trade him out ;-)
His brother was very flat for two weeks after his concussion scoring 53 against Hawthorn and 77 against Collingwood. While they were both good opposition he didn't look like he had fully recovered. I can't remember anyone maintaining form let alone improving after concussion. David Parkin has stated that it took him a month to recover after his concussions. Selling now and buying later may not be a waste of two trades.
well I'm taking the punt and saying bye Roo..I need chappy and have got your cous so I will re-unite the family once your price has bottomed out ( jus like cous)..
Pieraider i reckon it would be a waste of 2 trades. Nick Riewoldt bottoming out would be around the 380k mark he is currently at the 450k mark does 2 trade justify a 70k loss when he could possibly go bang bang and kick a bag start taking a few marks, etc. Key forwards always have a tough time scoring big at AAMI last week was no exception
