did not realize grimes was out! damn. its something ill definitely consider. was hoping when i picked him at the start of the season he'd be one of more reliable scorers down back.

    is it a serious injury??

Right foot injury in the first quarter, subbed off. Haven't seen the footage but if you need to be subbed off that early, it's not a good sign.

I was reccomended this site from a mate and found it's really helpful.
    This is my side:
    BACKS: Deledio-Shaw-Adcock-Goddard-Grimes-Broughton-Lower-Duigan-Puopolo-M.Otten

    MIDS: Mundy-Heppel-Harris-Selwood-Conca-Kerr-Krakouer-Gaff-Polec

    RUCKS: Cox-Sandilands-McCauley-Redden

    FORWARDS: Pavlich-Franklin-Goodes-NRiewoldt-Rioli-Tapscott-Markovic-Richardson-Harper-Lamb

With my trades I was considering bringing another gun midfielder in as I only have Selwood and Mundy, I don't think we can call Kerr one yet but will be if he keeps playing like he did today.
I was also thinking that I might need stronger reserves, Richardson,Harper and Lamb are no where near good enough. Isaac Smith, Liam Patrick, Tom Lynch (GC) are all in mind.

    CASH: $158,900

Any thoughts? Have alot of cash spare!

    @FSN

You'd have to look at getting Swanny in now, it'll strengthen your MF that's for sure

Good to see ya mate FSN you finally got on here, yer try get Swanny,
Okay, So i have hit a brick wall with my plan to go
    Curnow>>Smith
    Tapscott>>JRoo
    because
1: I have been told to trade doen Libba not Curnow because Curnow will be a good bench option come finals time or something like that, so now i'm planning out Libba, which won't get me as much cash as i might need
    and
2: Tapscott scored 104 and Matera 94 and I was planning to trade those guys, do I trade Darling as he's already up at that price that i can do
    Libba>>Smith
    Darling>>JRoo
or am I talking nonsense again?

Trade Matera over Tapscott as Tappy has shown he is much more consistent and still has growth in him, whereas Matera puts up some shockers and then 1 big game.

    @ Sainter
I wouldnt completely throw out the Curnow trade, i reckon he will be on a fair few cutting blocks due to his bye next week and the fact he has probably close to maxing out his $$$ potential.

Trade Matera. Has the bye round 9. Tapscott has more growth with a higher average.

Spent a rainy Sunday on the gold that is the TS stats page and have come up with my trades for the next few weeks. Was going to do Chappy this week, but he will drop to circa $510k after next game so will wait. Swallow & Matera have pretty much peaked, and Stanley Harris Toy McKernan Tapscott and a few others a week or 2 away.

    Hence this week looking at
    Matera => Patrick
    Swallow => Pendlebury

Chappy in next week as we get the GnR moving into execution phase.

This site is gold...use it to bash up your mates. Currently on 1,872 from 17 played this week, sitting top of mates league and 3,000th overall. Love this site!

Cheers guys. I was thinking Tappy, because of his higher price and a couple of good scores from Matera. Hopefully Matera allows a decent upgrade.

    ROUND 8:
    OUT: Curnow (maybe still deciding)
    IN: I.Smith
    OUT: Matera (maybe)
    IN: J.Roo

    ROUND 9: NO TRADES

    ROUND 10:
    OUT: Tapscott
IN: Forward rookie (Mzungu if back)
    OUT: Liberatore
    IN: Watson

    Round 11: NO TRADES

    Round 12:
    OUT: Duigan
    IN: Defender rookie
    OUT: McEvoy
    IN: Sandilands

Rough Draft of my trades over the next month and a half, and leaves me with a team like this

DEF: Goddard Broughton Newman Grimes Adcock Lower L.Thompson Otten ROOKIE
MID: Swan Judd Selwood Montagna Watson Foley Harris Smith Irons
    RUC: Sandilands Cox Smith McCauley
FOR: N.Roo Pavlich Rioli Goodes StevieJ J.Roo Krakouer Darling Winmar ROOKIE

got bored so i wrote this
    :)

question, is liam patrick a viable option as a fwd downgrade? id like to move mckernan on, really cant see his value appreciating much more. or am i better waiting for Mzungu?

    Thoughts appreciated

well as long as McKernan's getting games i su[ppose it should be alright to wait for Mzungu if he plays well straight away, the question is get liam patrick or wait a few weeks with Mckernan and get Mzungu, and i'd mch rather have Mzungu than patrick although Patrick will be a good option
I'm thinking OUT: Richardson in Isaac Smith/Lynch and then out Conca in Swan if i can afford it for my side

I'm not s****y at the moment I think Jack Grimes might see himself dropped. Games going down to the wire and if I lose by anything under 100 pts there might be some rage trading going on.

    Seriously but:

Rd 8: Gaff / Matera - out for 2 rookies.
Rd 9: Krak to Swan. :)

Have you got d/f? Then you could swap him for pedersen or maybe puopolo.

    Otherwise I'd wait for mzungu.

Mckernan's $ willl still rise a bit. And I reckon Mzungu will perform better than patrick.
