Boyd should def be on the radar. Is benefiting from the relaxed supercoach scoring system this year. Had him last year and he was good regret not starting him this year. Scotland no - bye. Shaw maybe.

re. Boyd.... I selected Boyd from the start after reading the relaxed rules on clangers. Definitely worth consideration and is on track for a top 6 midfielder finish with another 124 this week.
For Grimes holders worrying about coming weeks, Dees website says he's having scans today and they should have results this afternoon.
Fyfe suffered an injured shoulder and a knock on his leg. And he was tagged a bit harder than previously v Richmond and came in for a fair degree of treatment. I think opposition teams are wising up to him a little. His scores might fall away somewhat.

Quote from battyb on May 9, 2011, 10:03 Did I see that Fyfe was injured? If so, any news on how badly?
Hurt his shoulder, had it strapped and was back out on the field.
Grimes will be down to 380k this week and if he scores 90 the next 2 games he will plummet to 330k, reckon he is definately trade bait even if the injury isnt serious
if Grimes is out LTI, I am tossing up between bring in Josh Gibson as a sideways, or downgrade to Poopoo/Hibberd/etc, use $$ somewhere else.
am getting smashed by injuries this weekend. I had a lovely trading plan (bringing in selwood this week) but thats all on hold till I find out the diagnosis on everyone.... all but otten I had considered keepers so I am hoping there is no real LTIs: Def - Grimes - Otten Mid - Fyfe - S Thompson - ADEL FWD - S Johnson - Rioli
Im in the position to upgrade to a premium for next week but not sure who to pick from: J Selwood Chappy Montagna Cox Judd Any suggestions?
Selwood is as cheap as you're gonna get him, he's headed upwards from now on. Chappy will go down with a higher BE. Pendles to come in for sure this week for Swallow. However Hibberd as my perfect downgrade has fizzled, and so I must look elsewhere. Brodie Smith looks ripe for a downgrade, but will need to take a punt on Poops for that. I'm also reluctant to downgrade B Smith who has been scoring reliably in a backline that could be without Grimes.
If Grimes needs to be traded was thinking moving him on for B Rawlings, could do a one for one trade and Rawlings appears to be on the up SC wise.
Will Rawlings be in the top 7 backs this year? This year - who knows? But thats the question you have to ask yourself. Don't bring in anyone for Grimes that you don't think will be in the top 7 backs of the year.
RE: Grimes If he is out for a while and people like myself who have him are forced to trade him out, its a great opportunity to make up some points in the long run IF you make the right trade. Grimes average of 90.80 is barely top 7 material. Even Heppell is managing to average slightly higher at 91.17. I'll only be looking at players that have already had the bye, so for me it really boils down to a choice of Shaw, Adcock, & Fisher (already got Enright, Deledio, Gibbs, Goddard). Considering I've already got Goddard from the Saints down back and am planning on getting Shaw anyway, I'm leaning toward Adcock at this point. Though, his injury prone past I'm sure will put others off..
I'm going to upgrade a mid this week finding it difficult to choose between Swan, Selwood, Mundy, Boyd & Griffen. I will eventually have 3 (Swan, Selwood & 1 other) of these to go with Pendlebury, Judd & Mitchell, just not sure which order to get them in and who the third will be out of Mundy, Boyd & Griffen. Any advice?
