I'm going to upgrade a mid this week, I'm thinking:

Matera/McKernan > I. Smith/Mzungu (don't care about JS, want to move Fyfe to FWD)

    Curnow/Libba/Swallow > Swan/Selwood

I'm finding it difficult to choose between Mundy, Boyd & Griffen (Hodge will join this list when he is fully fit again) to finish my midfield. I will eventually have Swan, Selwood, Pendlebury, Judd & Mitchell & 1 of the above 4 to go with them, just not sure who to get in out of Mundy, Boyd, Griffen & Hodge. Any advice?

    Personally:

    Boyd > Mundy > Griffen.

Hodge isn't even in the equation until he strings a few good games together.

I already have Boyd and I am getting in Mundy quick sticks. If they still score high in losses then get on.

Hey DC - is that a bye thing? You worried about week 1 finals and Boyd?

BJ I think it would be more than Freo has its next bye in a 3-team bye round, meaning Mundy won't miss another league game.

Ah yep. Of course Nick. Thanks *Slaps forehead.

Anybody still saving a spot for Ablett? With Boyd and Mundy looking so good and if you want to have your midfield upgraded as quickly as possible, is he going to be able to turn it around in time?

On shared bye, I don't weight it too greatly as I don't plan to have to have many Adelaide or Melbourne players left in my side by then. Particularly in the Mids.

But if league victory is what you're after, then you can have as many Freo players as you want and their bye won't affect you. If still going for overall, get on Boyd imo

for me, im seriously thinking boyd/judd this coming round for d.swallow
and moving out mkernan for... someone..
then next move out matera for i.smith (if still getting games) and jumping on harris for swan

    gives midfield of
    murphey
    boyde/judd
    swan
    selwood, j
    pendles
    cotchin
    swallow, a
happell (rd 16-19 trade out prospect)
wallis (hopefully will get a few more games before mzungu is ready to moo)
so room for a couple more prems later in the year
but that will be my mids from round 10. with some focus on def and fwd

im thinking round 9 swan trade, i dont see him going much lower than he would be at that point cause he is a star.

so my short answer is boyd, but consider judd. hes a star and is around the same price.

    I would have Mundy,
    1. Because Mundy's next bye is in a Supercoach League Bye, no league matches.
    2. But wouldn't rule out Boyd, Boyd has the bye in round 20 i think, and that is the last round before supercoach finals. And you might need a win in that round and with a gun midfielder ut of your side you could end up in the bottom 8. Ofcourse i don't know how you are going, and where you are sitting on the ladder.
    3. In the end it's your choice
