thanks th

Saints boy and me scored the same score for round 6, so keep our 5 point margin at the top in tact!

congrats to Bookie for top score of the round!

I was thinking that sub 2000 score would have seen me slip in the rankings, but I actually improved by about 40 spots - up to 325th oa

Absolote failure for me this round! Went bush for the week and thought I would have net before thursday but didn't drive into reception till after Thursday lockout and had all my melbourne and WC players on the bench and freo geel hawks players on the field!!! So devestating! Thankfully i had cox as an emergency but not so lucky in the other zones.

Atleast the 1700 here wasn't as bad as the 1400 in my normal team but man it was painful watching the scores come in this weekend!

Exicted fro league games to start again this week :)

1958 for me this week...needs to start doing some seriously good trades to get back into the game!

and congrats to anthak on maintaing such a high overall position...325th overall is pretty impressive, especially moving up 40 odd spots after last week. :)

2095 for the week. Sitting in 387th Spot now.

Wish i had taken Coxy as C instead of the gamble on Swanny. That would have taken me to around 210 and about 360 odd points off the lead.

Seems like this team is rapidly becoming a priority

FSB - I thought this team was meant to be Casey's (lol!)

Seriously, I saw that you had moved up to from a clear TOP 3 (with Anthak and SaintsBoys) but didn't realise you were so high up overall, hopefully at least one of you will push much higher by year end.

I think once we have all adjusted back to a normal round this weekend it would be a good time to post a thread (or whatever it is called on the homepage) to highlight to the TS community the wide gap that
is starting to open up in the field at the (approx) 1/3rd mark.

Oh Casey is having heaps of input...she just has to do exactly what I tell her..she is a minor after all

But yeah we are right up there.

FSB - that reminds me of Richie Benaud on one of the 12th Man albums:

"Let's work as team and do it my way!"

Those that still have Sylvia must be happy. I traded him out a couple of weeks ago when he had the bye. I was choosing between him and goodes. Sylvia has outscored goodes by about 100 points since then already. I hope it evens out a bit more in the long run

Got Sylvia, but was only against the crows.
Was happy with Sandi as Cap, in losing side.

ended up with an (unofficial) 2167

very happy and hoping to maybe improve from 1170ish given that score ranks well against my TS league that my other team plays in

also fingers crossed I can gain some ground on at least 1 of the top 3 Trading Games leaders

and with a few trades needed this week, due to the injuries, it will be interesting to see who people decide to get.

Eckie - i'm looking at a pretty much standard Grimes > Standard Premium Defender LTI trade only given a preference to trade in 1 or 2 of Smith/Puopolo/Lynch next week if they can hold form and show signs of decent JS

but I do think the trading tempo over the next few weeks will be interesting as I am guessing that as the field is now spreading out risks may start to be taken as cashcows approach decent $$$$ and a double culling allows a decent upgrade/downgrade

so what trades did and captain selections did everyone make?

I went duigan to jacobs and left grimes on the bench for a trade next wk
and curnow to mundy and put the c on him.
hopefully jacobs keeps getting games. I didn't feel comfortable with swan as my only prem in the mids with judd and montags out!

I took a bit of a risk this week. Decided to hang onto grimes and Harris for now - both for different reasons. I traded polec to Isaac smith, and cornrows to ROK. could have downgraded either of Harris or grimes and been able to get any mid I wanted, but was frustrated with polec, and think ROK will be a good pickup. Have a look at sydneys fixture - it's strange, they have a fairly easy draw all the way home. ROK has been inconsistent so far this year, but is still averaging 100, and we all know he is capable of going huge. At his price now, he is a bargain. I hope he can string together some big scores now. Smith is also a risk as he has only played the 1 game, but worth the punt I reckon. He adds a lot to the hawthorn side so hopefully won't be dropped, and he helps out a bit with mpp too.

well ROK did alright, but my team is doing pretty crap this week. and Pittard missing his game will result in a zero for me, with Joey, Judd and Harris on the bench.

ATM im on 1064/13

would like a couple of big ones from my PODs Isaac and Pavlova

1903 for me this week - pitterd's late withdrawal provided a donut but a disppointing effort all around

2075, went pittard for selwood, happy with that move.
If I had made him cap, that would have been even better.

After the bye might look at getting in G Abett, lowest 75, highest 198. Once a champ always a champ.
