Need some help in deciding who to bring in this week in the backline. There are a couple of options out there, but I want the best!!

OK my first thoughts are puopolo or pederson, but there is also hibberd (if hirdy ever decides to give him a decent run) or jacobs in faith.

What's everyone's thoughts on these players and there job security and did i miss anyone??

Try to downgrade Swallow/Curnow instead, and upgrade a back.

Otherwise you'll have to take a punt on one gamers such as Puopolo or Hibberd (if he gets named, which I think he will).

Hibberd should play this week with Stanton looking to miss..

He is one injury away from a perm spot in the team...

Rumours of Hardingham getting a rest this week as well...

I have the same mail DC, with at least one of Stants and Hardingham to miss. If Hibberd is named I think I'll slot him in above Puopolo and I Smith. I'm scared I Smith will have to keep pumping out 80+ to keep his spot, while Hibberd (and to a lesser extent, Puopolo) are more structural, performing "jobs" on opposition players and hence having better JS.

This also allows me to hold on to B Smith for a bit longer as he plays the GC this week.

How about Luke Thompson? Still a viable downgrade?

Personally I think Puopolo is the better option. Even if Pederson plays (I don't think he will) his JS is poor. North have so many tall options it's ridiculous. They're also set to get H Mac back soon.

Puopolo should get a run for a few more weeks. But it's definitely a risk getting him before he's 3rd game is confirmed.

I need to make the decision on him myself this week as I'll be trading 2 GC players next week (Swallow and Matera)

I'd go with Pederson, should he play his 3rd this week, at least then is guaranteed.

What about me? Looking at Pederson coming in this week for Otten. That'll leave me with $154,700 in the cap. Next week I was thinking Foley out for C Judd.

Juddy will have had a bye, Foley still has his to come.

I already have B Jacobs on my backs bench and I Smith in my Mids.
