Can Rob Murphy keep up his good form? And is he good enough to be considered as a keeper in the forward line for finals?

    @alex
IMO not in the FWD's but he's only a few points off the top 7 in DEF.
Look out for Daniel Talia (D/F link) to make his debut. Talia is meant to go alright but I'm not totally sure of his 'issues'.
Without knowing your team it's hard. But I have Murphy and with the absence of strong DEF downgrades, I'm keeping an eye on Talia. Might help!!

@way2serious selwood scores great but is consistant as well he rarely has a bad game and he's as cheap as he'll get because of his concussion back at start of season

Well I've slept on the trade thought...

    Yarran avoids the chop.

    Matera > Mzunga
    Harris > Boyd

OK - I've been mulling (no pun) over this ever since Watto went out and gave me a donut in the MID's - see the Jobe Saga thread.....
    I've got 17 trades and $9K

    So my options are:
    1) Swallow/Harris> I.Smith then Swallow> Mundy/Swan/Boyd
Leaves me very little $ also both GC players are gone. Would like to hold onto one really. Also holds Watto.

    2) Watto> Hodge/Dal Santo
1 trade, but no new cows coming in - not a real problem as I.Smith is not playing this week. Can do that next week.
    Also leaves me $75K.

    3) Tappscott> Pissoff then Swallow/Harris> Hodge/Dal Santo
Gets me a new cow in the FWD (with I.Smith not playing this works OK as I can still get him on the bubble next week), but does mean both Harris/Swallow will be gone once the I.Smith trade is complete next week.

    4)Tappscott> Pissoff then Watto> Mundy/Swan/Boyd
As option 3 leaves me with one of Harris/Swallow once I.Smith is brought in next week and $145K+ in the kitty for another up/down next week or so.

Obviously (I think) option 4 is probably the best, gets me a cow dwn fwd and gives me the option to get I.Smith next week on the bubble, but I only got Watto in last week and I'm loathed to trade him out after one week because of this.
I understand he has to go long-term, but I've burnt a trade as I got no benefit from him....

Option 1 keeps Watto and gets me a premium this week on the ground, but burns both Harris/Swallow.

Option 2 saves a trade but no cows, which I need in either Mid or Fwd.

    Thoughts/other options?

I need to trade out Grimes this week. Already have:

DEF - Deledio, Shaw, Goddard, Hurley, Grimes, Heppel, Duigan (L. Thompson, Lower, Puopolo)

    I was thinking Grimes > Fisher/Adcock/Suckling

Leaning towards Fisher, price goes up after this week. Suckling is a bargain, but is he premium?

    What do you reckon?

Who would you take this week: Sylvia or Fyfe?

Fyfe looks better (and I think he'll score more this week - good for league), but is 25K worth 5ppg more when their prices could be the same in a week or two?

I would take Fyfe. I think he is the real deal and could finish top 7 this year in the fwds.

I am really having trouble (as I'm sure many are) in splitting Hibberd and Puopolo.

    Both named on the field.
Both in the side due to injuries to more senior players.
Both had big pre season wraps.
    Both are mature aged.

    Any other advice?

Note this is to sit in my backline, so MPP is irrelevant.

    Cheers Nick.

If I don't get Fyfe now, I might not. In coming weeks I could get distracted by Chapman/Ablett/Hodge etc.

Agree with Weazel - Puopolo. Better JS.

Thanks for the advice - Poops it is. Stratton and Gilham out surely will cement his spot.

Wrighty - NO to Newton. Whats your price range?

Goldy is in good form and a good POD, would rather Sex on the Beach though.
