Who to trade, who to keep:

1)Upgrade Harris and keep Swallow for M7.

OR

2)Upgrade Swallow and keep Harris for M7.

What say you?

Having same problem. Leaning towards keeping Swallow, but can't rationalise why yet, just a gut feeling. No doubt will change my mind several times before Friday.

Much of a muchness lol

I got rid of Swallow last week for Thompson.

Harris will be going for Ablett/Mundy/Body

But to answer your question..

Harris will rip out the odd 110+ game

Swallow will give you 70-80 every week

Keep Swallow! (Harris under injury cloud)

I've gotten rid of both, but if I had a choice I'd keep Swallow. Just think he has a bit more class about him.

Trade Harris first. I agree with DC. Harris has the capacity to score higher, but Swallow is more consistent.

Ditch both for upgrade / cash, and use Mzungu as M7 for a while till you upgrade later. Both seem about as high as they will get in $$ terms, so might as well use it elsewhere.

Keep Swallow, I reckon he will pull out a big 120 sometime soon.
I remember last year, I ditched Martin when he was putting in solid 60-80's. Then he started to pull out the big scores and sky rocketed in price.

The differnce there is that Richmond had a massive form swing which obviously benefitted Martin. Playing for GC it is unlikely (Don't hold me to that!) that they will start dominating teams and having more points to share around the young midfield.

I'd say ditch Swallow first cos
a. Higher starting price (ties up more cash)
b. Harris has further to go in terms of 'topping out'
c. Neither score enough to justify M7

Alternative argument would be a backup option averaging >80 per round, bought for <$300k is a good deal. I don't take that view

Harris plays well mostly against bad teams, take a look his tons are against Carlton (the exception), but the other two against Port and Brisbane.

Poorest scores have come against stronger opposition in Geelong and Dogs.

I prefer Swallow who puts in consistent 70-90 score each week. You know what you are getting with him and he still has the potential to improve.

Yeah got rid of both of them, but you can't go wrong with either. Personally I'd keep Harris and rid of Swallow. but it is quite a dilemma nonetheless
