Can I ask some advice. Im going for cash league win and I'm currently 9th on ladder currently 4 points behind 5th place. (4 teams on same score) I got 10 trades / 14,700 in bank - I need to punch my way into the 8 to ensure I make finals and I'm willing to burn a few trades to secure my spot. B: Deledio, Gibbs, Goddard, Enright, H Shaw, Lower, Batchelor (Buckley, Tape, Toy) M: Pendles, Selwood, S Thompson, Heppell, Murphy, Cross (Swan, Jacobs, I Smith) R: Cox, Z Smith (Sandi, Derickx) F: Buddy, Pav, Fyfe, Goodes, Jroo, Darling, Mzungu (Prestia, Richardson, Siposs) I'm tossing up a few options atm - what do you think is best: 1) Swan -> Didak (or anyone cheap) / Batchelor -> Newman 2) Sandi -> Vardy / Batchelor -> Scotland / Newman 3) Toy -> Rookie / Darling -> N Roo 4) Swan -> ROK / Chapman (straight swap) The more I look at my options the more stressed I become. Any help would be appreciated!
@ Tino I'd go option 3 but maybe downgrade Buckley instead? He may get a game this week with all our outs but after R13 Bye I just cant see him getting many games
Need a little help guys. My team is this...B: Gibbs, Deledio, Goddard, Shaw, Lower, Duigan, Nicoski with Batchelor, Hunt and Delaney on my bench. Mids are Swan, Judd, Pendles, Mundy, Selwood, Boyd with Mzungu, Jacobs and I.Smith. Rucks are Cox, Ryder with Smith and McCauley. Forwards are Pav, Fyfe, Buddy, ROK, Goodes, Rioli, Darling with Markovic, T.Lynch and Richo. I have 79,300 in the bank and 10 trades. Midfield is pretty much finished. My forward line is one player away from being complete and my backs are probably one premium away from being complete. Any thoughts as to where I can improve and with whom. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
@FixEmUp What I would do is trade Ryder for Vardy, put Smith on the field (Smith is averaging 108 in the past 3 matches) then trade Duigan for Enright or Broughton, if you trade for Enright or Broughton this week you'll have enough cash for next week to upgrade Nicoski to Fisher or Scotland as well............. Hope that helps?
@tino. I've had my first crack at sc this year and wasted a few trades early also. I'd suggest looking at your opponents for the next 3 weeks as that's how long sandi/ swan are out for. If they're tough must win games, why not trade sandi to vardy. This will free up enough cash to get fisher and sj in or squeeze out 3 upgrades of broughton, enright and rok.
I am seriously considering getting rid of Sandi this week. I have the Tippett/Petrie link with Smith. Smith is and should pop out good score for the rest of the season. I could use the extra 300k for Swallow > ROK Lynch > Sylvia Prestia > Didak Pupo/Hibberd > Shaw/Chaplin Leaving my side finished (well with 5 trades after those it is as finished as it's going to get) Gibbs, Deledio, Adcock, Goddard, Heppel, Shaw, Suckling (Hibberd/Puop, Jacobs, Toy) Redden, Bartel, Swan, Boyd, Montagna, Hodge (Didak, I. Smith, Weller) Cox, Smith (Curnow (Port), Tippett) Chapman, Franklin, Sylvia, Pav, NRoo, ROK, Petrie (Knights, Mzungu, Callinan) Now, I would have though that will leave me with more than enough cover with the DPP's in my forward, mid and Ruck. Having no DPP link in my back line I am hoping bench cover of 2 decent rookies in Jacobs and Hibberd/Puop will be enough. Your thoughts would be appreciated!
have a few options and would appreciate your thoughts: Option 1: Hale>Cox, Tapscott>Didak Option 2: Smith/Petrie>Cox, Krakouer> Chappy/Rioli Option 3: Hale>Cox then wait a week for a FWD UP
@AndrewW- #3 for mine, but Didak may come good this week with more midfield time available. Who knows what Dids will do? maybe DG Tappy? not many options, Smith if named or Mzungu still fairly cheap if you didn't get him last week.
Should i trade daisy this week for Priddis? or wait next week and trade in Boyd? Both have a good run home, but Boyd will most likely be 20 grand cheaper next week. I have 372 G's in the bank, so money isn't a huge issue.
dont trade daisy out. should trade out kraouker for rioli and L thomson for broughton? or any other good ideas? also have sandi and swan whichis trouble
hey guys my main issue at is the amount of trades left. what is a good amount around now i have 11 sittin in the top 5000 out of contention but would love to finish as high as i can but if i double trade with sandi to vardy(have cover with cox/smith/tippet and petrie down forwrad) and lower to fisher my side will be set with 350 in the bank for later changes but with only 9 trades with along way to go. cheers
fightingfury How is your back up for Swan/Sandi? If you think you want another premium in this round than you should, everyones team is different and everyones expectations are different, those trades look pretty solid with petrie, smith to cover if you trade sandi, and fisher is in good form, keep in mind Fisher's bye in 2 weeks, if it doesn't worry you than those trades look good
