    That's right. Barlow's back. should we give him a few weeks to settle or get him to replace Selwood?

    I'm wondering the same thing Neil

    I would love to have him for round 15 when freo play gc, but his price won't have changed by then unfortunately. He is the most expensive player in the whole comp atm I think.

    I think I'll see how he goes this week, and consider bringing him in next week or possibly even week after - just in time for the gc game.

    Oh man I got the SC blues... the Reltons go into battle this week without Mundy, Selwood, Adcock, Smith, Sandi, Pendles, H. Shaw!

    I got a few options up my sleeve...

    OPTION 1

    Selwood --> Ablett
    Mundy --> Sylvia

    OPTION 2

    Selwood --> Boyd
    Mundy --> Pavlich

    OPTION 3

    Selwood --> Ablett
    Adcock down to Strauss (then next week Mundy-Swan)

    OPTION 4

    Selwood --> Ablett
    Z.Smith --> J.Tippett

    *Upgrades still required = D7, F7 and Mundy/Selwood

    *Bench at the moment is (DEF) Heppell, Poo, Jacobs, Coad (MID) Iles, Hibberd, I.Smith (FWD) Krakwhore, Lynch, Matera (RUCK) Sandi/Smith, McCauley

    -------------------

    Option 1 means I spend about 20k too much on Sylvia but get Ablett

    Option 2 means I miss Ablett and cop Pav's horror run home

    Option 3 means two defensive upgrades left instead of one

    Option 4 opens up MPP with Petrie in FWDS and dodges the Smith/Sandi donut this week

    Any feedback appreciated

    PS - sorry for the long post, guys!

    easty - troubled times.
    Consider: Selwood - Ablett and Mundy - Embley or Bartel.
    Just a thought.

    @Tibby I agree with Selwood to Ablett and Mundy for Bartel.

    KOD warning: I have just about honed in on Selwood to Bartel myself.

    ymmv etc, etc

    cheers

    bjaensch - you've outdone yourself mate, Bartel just has to be the king of the KODs.

    Hanoi home in a close one. Well done again (don't underestimate this bloke). Snoz hits back and hard. The train keeps on a rollin'.

    Cheers for the trade advice, guys - appreciate it.

    TiBby - Embley was a cracker of a suggestion (I had totally left him out of my plans) and I nearly went there but the potential donut at R2 saw me go Z.Smith down to J.Tippett instead.

    Bill - the Bartel family has requested you don't send any flowers :p

    Snoz - ripper game, well played. Hopefully, we can have a rematch on that one day in... August

    Hanoi - our resident sniper hiding in the jungle, fine work

    Yes gentlemen, I really out did myself this week. 1000 apologies.

    I feel confident that if you could kick me off the league at this point you probably would.

    Hanging my head in shame.

    cheers,
    Bill

    Bill,

    I know there is nothing except chance here but I take note. I didn't take note with Hodge a couple of weeks ago and felt it, I did with Adcock, did with Bartel and dodged bullets.

    Cheers,

    J

    J, LMAO!!

    At least someone is benefiting from my psychic insight. If my area of expertise were financial instruments, I would be a champion short seller.......

    Apologies to Squiddy and Ant. Got you both on bad weeks I think.
    We are up to 29th in league position now. Not bad

    Don't apologise HH. That's rubish... I've had so many bad weeks this season that they are the norm! Your win was totally deserving!! Battle of the cellar dwellers could always go any which way.

    Just giving this a bump before all the weekend traffic pushes us to page 5.

    Exciting match this round with 1 vs 3. Also the rejuvenated Hanoi Hawks take on Relton's Revenge who are still smarting after just getting pipped by Snoz last week. Tough ask Neil, but have a crack.

    Me? I'm about to get run over by a train.

    @Tibby. Yes, Relton's Revenge holds no fears for me, not now that I have just traded Travis "Big Dumbass Git" Cloke into my semi potent forward line.

    Ha! So did I. Westy might have a big one at home (Port might just surprise Norf).

    KOD very late this week - probably went Cloke!

    That KOD didn't quite work out Tibby!

    I might ask you to do that each week so I can jump on board.

    Close one this week for you!

    Just can't get over the line J. The donut from Mz hurt. But gotta admit it is exciting just how close our league is from top to bottom and love seeing our rating creep up each week.

    Up to 26th league, closing in on a top 20. To think back, we were around 55+ early in the season.

    Nice work all.

    Indicative of the climb is I am starting to win a few in some of the other TS leagues, so my team is slowly getting better, but can't seem to take a trick with you guys because the Expats League is so strong. Thanks to Neil for taking closer interest because it is all hands on deck to get in that top 20. If we can achieve that, maybe we can drop the 'potential' next year and maybe walesy will give us our own thread.

    PS. Copped a thrashing from the donors team. Have level pegged or marginally outscored them for most of the season, then they pull out the big one. Finals in that league will be exciting.

    well done on us climbing ever higher and higher. Finally got myself the top score of 2361 this week. The sandi issue is now a big spanner in the works. Hold or trade, thoughts?
