Couple of standouts this week Dean Cox @Patersons, has averaged 134ppg this year at Patersons, Aaron Sandilands has averaged 112 at patersons, Jonathon Griffen has averaged 121 at Patersons and Nic Naitanui has averaged 86, these stats show that W.A Ruckmen run opponents into the ground and absolutely smash it in the West. Hodge and Mitchell V Brisbane at the MCG, Mitchell has pulled off scores of 191, 159, 103, 116, 142 and 132. Luke Hodge has pulled off scores of 100, 188, 174 and 153. Ryan O'Keefe/Adam Goodes V Gold Coast Suns. Ben McEvoy V Port Adelaide (Matthew Lobbe) could easily have a big game against the younger ruckmen. Scored 86 last time V Port Adelaide, against Adelaide, he scored 97 last time. Has averaged big in the last 3-5 weeks. Chris Judd loves playing the Dogs, has had scores of 170, 165, 136, 173, 100, 117, 75 and 140. That's EVERY single game he's ever played VS Western Bulldogs since 2005 (when SC start), that's an average of 134.5ppg. Dane Swan V North Melbourne has scored 127, 127 & 152 over the last 3 occasions. Who's your pick?
Yeah, I didn't put Gazza up because most have him as perma-captain anyway, and was looking at players that some wouldn't have...I don't have Gaz either so yeah. But here; Ablett scores V Sydney 96 in 2005, 90 & 52 in 2006, 122 in 2007, 254 & 155 in 2008 (WOW), 164 in 2009, 203 & 135 in 2010. WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I'm shattered that I don't have him, since 2007 he has averaged 172 V Sydney Swans!!!!!!!!! How many exclamation marks is enough? That's amazing! Gazza = perma-captain (even when he's 60! )
Faaark! There are still some tasty options to think about, massive averages from some of the games best. This is a week to take a chance to pull back some points for those chasing the leaders. Who has the cajones to move from the Perma though?
@Sainter. It would take something incredible for both Hodge/Mitchell not to rack up points this weekend. Wish I had either of those two in my team this week.

anyone think Judd can back it up after last week if he gets the Big C? given the whole "Captain can't (or won't) back up huge scores)? Ablett has shot the theory to shreads this last month. also although they look a better side this year is it worth looking into how Pendles history stacks up against NM?

Ryan O'Keefe could be an interesting one, as Sydney Swans haven't versed Gold Coast Suns before in the regular season (exclude NAB Cup because it was only Half Game) I have done my best to try and come up with an average against the Gold Coast Midfielders. What I have done is gone through stats since Round 15 2005 to find a closest guess of a Ryan O'Keefe score against the Suns MIDS. Assuming Ryan O'Keefe starts in the Midfield, here; Scores In The Same Midfield As Ablett R15 '05: 164 SC Points R20 '06: 100 SC Points R13 '07: 046 SC Points R05 '08: 063 SC Points R20 '08: 043 SC Points R07 '09: 101 SC Points R20 '09: 111 SC Points R07 '10: 069 SC Points R18 '10: 062 SC Points Scores In The Same Midfield As Rischitelli/Brennan R20 '05: 145 SC Points R21 '06: 102 SC Points R03 '07: 089 SC Points R20 '07: 073 SC Points R03 '08: 149 SC Points R22 '09: 104 SC Points R06 '10: 096 SC Points R22 '10: 079 SC Points NOTE; may have missed a few games, stats source chopped off a few You can see that Geelong started tagging him from 2007 onwards. This is a projected score of 93. But take away his games when tagged from 2007 onwards V Geelong (but keep his '09 scores) and his projected score rises up to 109. Jump it up a few more points because he won't get tagged, they have Ablett, Brennan, Rischitelli, Swallow and co, not really any damaging taggers who will take him out of the game. Also theÃr in-experienced backline I doubt will hold him when he pushes forward, Bock will take Goodes or Reid, and O'Keefe will probably play on a first year player or a younger opponent.

If you don't have Gaz, then Juddy, ROK, Cox etc would be good options. As I said in the starter of this thread that Cox averages around 130-135 @Patersons this year and W.A Ruckmen love playing there, Cox mostly. Definitely an option. I'll be going JUDD (C) & COX (VC), although I want to go for Goddard and O'Keefe so bad but seeing Judd's scores V WBD it's too tempting to let go. May end up taking a punt on Brendon Goddard although there is a big risk in it. Last year his two games V Port Adelaide he scored 101 & 147, not bad, not bad at all, average of 124ppg. But this year he hasn't backed up his 120+ game performaces too well. He scored 120 & dropped to 96 the following week (-24p), he scored 127 & backed it up with 57 (-70p, can be excused for that, 57 was in Q1!) he scored 143 & backed it up with 84 (-59p), last week he scored 161. So this year his games above 120 have averaged 137ppg, but the following weeks he has averaged 79*, thats 58 points off. So if Goddard goes 58 points off this week he'll score 103, but his 57 backing up his score of 127 was scored all in the first quarter, you can say he would've scored 110 easily, so we'll make it 110 and his average backing up is now 96, speaking of which he also scored a 96 V Adelaide this year as one of his back-up games after a big score, it was at AAMI Stadium, he's playing there this week. With the extra 53p points from the game of 57, this makes his projected follow up score this week will make 120, climbing 17 from his previous projected score including the 57'*. It's very risky, and tempting for me, I may go with Goddard against the odds to have 2 big games in a row. Sorry Juddy, you're Vice. NOTE; watch it change before lockout
