Hi guys, Long time reader first time poster lol.

I need advice on which captain to chose for this week as it could make the difference to get in the top 8 on %.

    Cox, Swan, Pendles or Ablett?

I was leaning towards cox as they have Richmond but then Swan or Pendles as they have Pt Adelaide, Decisions decisions.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't think Cox will be in a positon to win the game against Richmond because WC should win quite comfortably.

Cox will dominate the hitouts won't he? Or will the return of NicNat steal his points?

I know for sure Sandi scored very highly when he played Richmond in Round 7

Well, for what it's worth, Swan got his record high 48 possessions last year, which was against Port Adelaide.

Swan for me. Port will look to bounce back after the showdown but they simply don't have the players to stop him. Especially as Primus doesn't like using K Cornes as a tagger. Cox won't kick the winning goal 2 weeks in a row.

For once last round I got my Captain choice right in Cox! What a waste it was not playing anybody haha... As for this round it will be Swan or Cox again... Cox at subi will look at another score of 130+

HotPies makes a good point - Swan absolutely dominated against Port last year but will need to see his record at AAMI against Port before I pick him over Cox against the Tigers.

    Swan or Pendles for me,

After reading a forum about 6 weeks ago about captains backing up, i did some research and Cox doesnt always back up from a colossus score to well. Should still be in for a big one though.

Just for the record, Swan got 48 in '09 @ the 'G v Port and last year he tore them to shreds also with 39 possies (not sure what SC) and was robbed off 3 votes by Rodan so he clearly has a outstanding record against them.

    48 Disp in '09 = 166SC
    39 Disp in '10 @ AAMI = 127SC
    Round 1 this year @ Etihad = 166SC

@Knuckles, ditto with the C on best capt for this rd to make the top 8.

Off topic, I've saved trading Shaw until now. I'm thinking of doing a straight trade for Birchall as a POD.
Plus the Hawks should account for the Roo's no prob's.

    @KnuckleBusters
Non-Captain Talk - But there is a forum chat where all residents of SA (if you live in Sa, as a Crows supporter) get to state their interest in joining a league with all people from that particular state. Bearfly is the Admin if you are interested - if you don't live in SA - you could wait until a forum topic of the Crows League gets posted so you can also jump in there. Exactly the same as the Saints league that I've commented my interest on - same goes for anyone else that is interested in joining these Leagues for next year. Have a read of TS Super Leagues 2012 with all the info that TiB and others have put together for 2012 planning. If your team or state is not up - it should be quite soon!

What about Selwood or Bartel? The cats are going to go wild against the Suns at Skilled Stadium. If they beat the Demons by 186 points, they could beat the Suns by 200+. But now because I said that, they probably won't.
