Ok people, just want to get some thoughts on who to have as your rucks/subs for the run home. I was ranked 10th overall but had 2 shocking weeks falling to 43rd. As everyone should have Cox, just talking about the R2, R3 and R4 position doesn't really matter at this point. Obvioulsy goldy has the bye, mcevoy lookin great, mummy lookin good etc Ive got Cox and Griffin and Rory Thompson on the pine, who thank god somehow got me 96 last week for Griffin's late withdrawl. I planned on bringing in Otten for Griffin as i can only do a sideways trade, But he's out. So my simple question is if you CANT afford any ruck over 420K - Would you be happy with rory thompson on the field for the rest of the year (if griffin doesnt come back) as your 2nd ruck, or would you grab Jolly or Kreuzer for Griffin. Guys I have that CAN play ruck - Cox, Petrie, Z Smith, Lobbe, and Tippett (the cheaper one). My actual ruck line-up is typically Cox and Smith or Cox and Petrie if my forwards are flush. I'd like to upgrade but with only two trades remaining, there are more pressing issues.
@Bj Surely you're not serious He's not a RUCK in SC And his formline usually only just lasts the one game. I do remember I had him as my RUC in my first year of SC. 150 one week (beat my opponent), 10 the next. Ahh back in the days when you sideways traded midpricers and didn't know what a premium was.
Cox, McEvoy at R1, R2. Then have Max Bailey and Rory Thompson to cover the inevitable injury or get rested in the latter rounds.
Cox, McEvoy, with Dish in the Fwd line and Lobbe backup. Looked at Jolly but he scares me a bit this year. I'll take BigMacs 120+ over Jollys 95 anyday. Get what ya pay for!
Im gona bring in Ryder for Griffin this week. 125 he got this week. Kruezer been getting 60-80's, jolly and otens too injury prone. Can only afford a 411K straight swap, ryder got 146 SC agains tdogs round 1 who he's playing this week, and have port in the SC grand final. Yes he has the bye, have cover, but no one else im liking in rucks for the 400K price range.
Dont do it Petefisker.. Ryder has the bye in round 24 which is the Supercoach Grand Final..... Your better off getting Jolly or Ottens..
Haha yeah i realised that before after i wrote it thought it was round 23, but its 24. So yeah. Tough one at 400k, just shouldnt expect much from whoever i grab.
How many trades have you got? Cant do a little downgrade/upgrade and get McEvoy who is only like $480K?
Joly or Hale.. thinking hale, has port, carlton, dogs and gold coast left. Going alright getting 100's now. Jollys fairly injuring prone and hasn't really got any big numbers.
Can you use Petrie in the rucks (after this week) and use the trade for your fwdline? edit: just realised you dont have the dish, so ignore that
