Friggin amazing how easily your season can turn around
Under the guise of a bye, a suspension or two, and a
Couple of injuries to star players. I don't know how to
Keep a decent team on the park when half my team is out!

There has to be an easy solution to all of this. A little
Help from the teams, coaches, and MRP, knowing that we're
In the middle of the Super Coach finals series,
So we only ask for two more games from our stars!

Need some help 2 trades left $43,000 in bank. What should I do?
    Def-Scotland,Fisher,Deledio,Goddard,Adcock,Heppell,
    Nicoski (Lower,Thompson,Howard)

    Mid-Ablett,Swan,Priddis,Hodge,Boyd,Cotchin (Jacobs,Buckley,Mzungu)

    Ruc- McEvoy,Z.Smith (Vardy,Bathie)

    Fwd-Fyfe,Goodes,Franklin,Pavlich,Harvey,Chapman,Petrie
    (I.Smith,Callinan,Tapscott)

These are some options i have come up with-
Option 1- Vardy to J.Tipett and Pavlich to Hale. Then I could move either Petrie or Hale to Ruck
    or
Option 2- Pavlich to O'Keefe and Lower to Birchall

I have 1 trade left so looks like I will be using it to trade out Pav.

    Who is the best option:
    1. Harvey
    2. Josh Kennedy
    3. Chapman
    4. OKeefe

I have plenty of coverage in my mids and forwards especially with the mid-fwd link

I'd be going them in that order BBR. However, you could add cloke and LeCras to that list.

If Cox is out I am stuffed as have no back-up ruck with Cmon Vardy Let's Go Party out for the season!!

Might have to use my remaining trade on a ruck backup and rely on MPPs to cover Sylvia and Pav!

Ok, got 2 trades left with $74,600 in the bank.

Got a few injuries now and players not playing:

    Judd, Gibbs, Broughton, Pavlich

I was always going to trade Judd down and upgrade J.Roo from D7, but looks like it will be Pavlich now.

Ok, out of these midfielders, who would you choose? (I have Swan, Pendlebury, Ablett, Judd, Boyd, Thompson)

    -Mitchell
    -Selwood
    -Hodge

Mitchell and Hodge scare me because I think there is a chance they could get rested against Gold Coast in the last round, that's the only thing. But if not, could be big rewards. Selwood has Sydney at Skilled this week and Pies the following week.
Selwood seems to be the safest, but unsure.

Forward line I have Franklin, Rioli, N.Roo, Pavlich, Fyfe, Goodes, J.Roo. So will have to get rid of Pavlich.

Who would you go as an upgrade for Pavlich?

    -Johnson
    -Chapman
    -O'Keefe
    -Harvey

Throwing O'Keefe out there, but he is last for me, not sure about him at skilled this week, and I think Harvey could be a decent POD.

Ok, the only restriction I will have if I go Mitchell in the midfield, I won't be able to afford Johnson if I want to. If I go anybody else in the midfield like Selwood or Hodge, anybody in my forward line is ok to upgrade, will have enough coin.

Thoughts? Any other suggestions are welcome that I may have missed.

    @HotPiesColdDrinks

I'd go Selwood in the mids for sure.
Out of the forwards, I reckon if you're aiming big for this week, then go Chappy or Stevie J at Skilled, not sure how'll they play next week against Collingwood. Stevie J played well against Collingwood earlier in the year, assuming he doesn't get rested. Brent Harvey has been really consistent lately.

Personally I'd go Selwood and Stevie J, but Harvey just keeps getting the job done.

    Hi Guys,

I posted this up under the best buys article and got a 50/50 split on which way to go.

Essentially, I have Pav, Sylvia, Gibbs, Scotland and Judd out this week. Pav and Judd get replaced by Mzungu and I. Smith, while Gibbs and Scotland get replaced by Puopolo and Jacobs/Hunt.

Obviously I don't want to get rid of a Carlton player, but my Prelim match is going to be mighty close. I have 2 trades left and no cash ($2k).

Options I have been considering include the following:

    1. Gibbs to Bock and Pav to Boomer / ROK
    2. Gibbs/Scotland to Adcock and Pav to Stevie J / Neon
    3. Just Gibbs to Bock
    4. Just Pav to Boomer / ROK

I'm sure there are other permutations as well. Essentially though, the question comes down to whether I go all out for this week (which might be to the detriment of next week e.g. Bock v Hawks or Stevie J v Collingwood) or whether I play it safe with one trade (and risk not making the GF).

    Thoughts?

@General - I'd go for option 4 mainly because if you do make it through to the GF then there's every chance you'll have two Carlton players your opponent won't. I'm also going Pav > Boomer myself this week.

By the way, what's the word on Lower? Is he still injured? Or will he play this week?

@General I would also go option 4 boomer very consistent of late not much risk there(richmond last match) then that sets you up for the GF if you want too trade in a hawks backman as they have gold coast so any of Gibson, birchall or suckling depending on who you can afford should score 100
And 1 trade just in case of general soreness could be what wins you the grandfinal
    just a thought

Hey guys, thanks for that. My only concern with that option is not making it through to the Grand Final. Pav to Boomer might only net me an additional 20 points over Mzungu, whereas Bock instead of Jacobs could be more like 40.

    I'll have to keep thinking.

The General. No point bombing out with 1 trade in the bank.. I would go Option 1.

    Hi guys,

I'm planning to make a trade this week in my backline and have $380k to spend.
I was deciding between Birchall & Suckling. I thought Birchall would be less likely to be rested.
Then the idea of Cameron Bruce came to me. Any ideas?

    Cheers, Lucas

Wouldn't go Cam Bruce mate, flip of a coin between Birchall and Suckling, really.

Somehow strung together 22 starters seeing as Broughton has been named. So far, lining up like this...

D: Goddard, Deledio, Fisher, Broughton, Adcock, Lower, Puopolo (No emergencies)
M: Pendles, Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Mitchell, Mzungu (D Swallow)
    R: Cox, Hale (Smith)
F: Fyfe, Goodes, O'Keefe, Franklin, Stevie J, Petrie, I. Smith (Howe)

Apart from Gibbs and Judd on the bench, I also have Pavlich who will most likely become Boomer and take Smith's spot up forward.
That leaves defence...despite Broughton being named, considering how bad he's been going is it a good move to trade him on to an Enright or Gibson as well?
No matter what I do, it seems like I'm stuck with playing Lower and Puop unless there's a bargain defender I've missed. Hence why I'm tempted to trade Broughton.

Mitchell for me Beaufisher, he is ultra consistent.

Who would you play on the ground and who would you bench out of Mzungu and Isaac Smith?
