I've got 2 trades. I highly suspect they'll be needed to cover outs (General, injuries)...but if I have the luxury I want to upgrade boyd.

Was thinking Nick Dal or Judd? what would you choose?

damnfunky - both would be fine but maybe look at other premiums playing in games involving the bottom 8/9 teams??

1 trade left. Cox to Goldstein or Rioli to ROK depending on final teams. I can cover Rioli with Mzungu, Didak or Isaac Smith.
Pretty sure Cox will get a rest this week and it will be carnage at the hawks.

damnfunky i definetly wouldnt be trading out boyd this week mate. the dogs play the dockers who are shot to bits its at the dome and he racked up about 46 possessions and 160 odd points when they played earlier in the year, im actually thinking on naming him captain this week

Please tell me why you would trade out Boyd? He will come out and score 130+ against Freo at Eithad this week!

DC - I guess it was more about wanting to bring in Judd or dal santo to get another POD from my main opponent and boyd was the one I'd be thinking to use.
Now I'm thinking Suckling to Scotland.

If cox is out I'II get goldstein
If rioli is out I have no idea

fyi - this is my team

    DEF: Goddard,Deledio,Gibbs(POD),Fisher,Bock, Enright(POD),Suckling
    - Bench: Pedersen, Otten, McKernan

    MID: Pendlebury(POD),Swan, Boyd, Ablett(POD),Thompson, Mitchell
    - Bench: Mzungu,Jacobs,Andreoli

    RUCK: Cox, Mumford(POD)
    – Bench: Smith, Tippett

    FWD: Fyfe, Goodes,O’Keefe(POD),Franklin,Johnson,
    Petrie(POD),Rioli(POD)
    – Bench – Talia, Richardson,Callinan

The cards will fall as they may. I'd say Rioli swap into Davis/Cloke/Chapman is not a bad one.

Rest is a pretty standard team, with some nice PODS, tbh I'd back them in and cover losses at the selection table which there will be, no doubt.

    @damnfunky

Not Judd if you're still thinking about a premium Midfielder, Sammy Gilobert played okay on him earlier this year, and remember, there is always Sean Dempster :D
I reckon C.Jones will get Murphy or Gibbs depending if he plays Midfield or not. Simpson possibly, just saying I reckon Dempster/Gilbert could do a job on him again, from memory I think Judd scored only 90 or something, happy to be porven wrong....

Solid team, Mitchell says he's good to play this week, Riolit too, Sizzle got subbed last time against Gold Coast though, probably trade, and out of Lucas'suggestions, Cloke scored 74 against Geelong last time, Chapman scored 70 against Pies last time, Davis scored 101 against Geelong in Round 8 which pretty much kick started his season.

Brent Harvey against Tigers at Etihad? Scored 125 against em in Round 5.

Brought in possibly the biggest sook of a north Melbourne captain, (who shall remain nameless) last week and thankfully survived anyway with a 2450 odd.
Saved a trade for the granny. Cox, rioli are under the microscope this week

I benched Pav last week to save a trade, this week looks like I need a fwd. I have pav + 77k.
I currently have Fyfe, franklin, rioli, goodes, Nroo, Jroo. The standard/solid options aren't looking so crash hot this week (no one has a hot fwd line on the ticker). I'm expecting pies and geelong fwds to be quiet so i'm considering smokey options.

    My gf opponant has O'keefe...

    Smokey Options:
    Petrie V richmond 149
Harvey V Rich 125 (& will bounce back after last week)
    La Cras V Adelaide 120

Can people suggest others? Or recommend one of the above?

Yeah I am deciding between Harvey (Always bounces back after a bad week) or Petrie. Have a feeling Harvey will go bang 135+++

@funkymonkey - I'd neutralize O'keefe if you think you have a better team than your opponent

hi guys im in the gf for my cash league and have Fyfe as a POD. Have 1 trade and 67k to spend.

My fwd line is: Goodes, Buddy, Chappy, Petrie, N.Roo and Rioli. (my opponent has an identical line except has L. Davis instead of N.Roo and ROK instead of Fyfe).

Who should I bring in for 522k?
