Lots of risks there again StKT, going for another mid-price approach? I made one yesterday so I might as well chuck it up here too. To be fair though, we must getting pretty desperate to have an RMT-like thread in December! BlueBeliever Salary cap left: $70,900. Brendon Goddard, Heath Scotland, Brett Deledio, Heath Shaw, Jed Adcock, Will Sierakowski, Steven Morris (Tim Golds, Henry Schade) Marc Murphy, Scott Thompson, Jobe Watson, Dustin Martin, Lenny Hayes, Elliott Kavanagh (Kyal Horsley, Tom Mitchell) Ben McEvoy, Nic Naitanui (Jonathan Giles, Orren Stephenson) Adam Goodes, Jason Porplyzia, Tommy Walsh, Lance Franklin, Travis Cloke, Jonathan Brown, Sam Rowe (Majak Daw, Ahmed Saad)
haha are you really surprised id have a fair few risks in my team!!! Yea i know its bit early for one but as i said thought this site needed some more footy talk as getting over run with cricket & basketball.. This was best i could come up with. But having said that, the supercoach rules are being announced tomorrow!!
Fair enough too. Cookie cutter's going to be Goddard, Scotland, Deledio and Shaw next year. Porps and Buddy the only locks up forward so far though I reckon. Martin would have to be close, but a definite lock if he picks up M/F
Are the mpp eligibilities in this just guesses? Some of them would be handy if true. I just picked this team and was able to see how much the byes would absolutely destroy it...still fun though. 24,900 left over. Backs: Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Hartlett, Suckling, Burgoyne, Bower, Morris, Horseley Mids: Pendlebury, Murphy, Selwood, Marty Clarke, Clifton, Morabito, Kavanagh, Magner Rucks: McEvoy, West, Giles, Stephenson Forwards: Franklin, Fyfe, Beams, Zaharakis, Robinson, Porplyzia, Saad, Walsh, Rowe
Backs: Goddard, Deledio, Shaw, Broughton, Lake, Docherty, Ellis (Frost, Horseley) Mids:: Pendlebury, Murphy, Priddis, Martin, Hayes, Coniglio (Gibson, Croizer) Rucks:: Leuenberger, McEvoy (Giles, Stephenson) Forwards: Franklin, Cloke, Zaharakis, JRoo, Porplyzia, Walsh, Curran (Kerridge, Saad) Cash: $53,900 Bit different to the mock team I have on excel using Walesy's predictions but then I didn't look at that and most of the rookies (and selections) were just chosen quickly on a whim. 14 prems, 2 mids, 14 rookies. More or less the strategy I want to take.
The Hornswagglers Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by Horratio. Salary cap left: $48,300. Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Heath Shaw, Greg Broughton, Matthew Buntine, Paul Bower, Sam Docherty Brandon Ellis, Will Sierakowski Gary Ablett jnr, Nick Dal Santo, David Mundy, Marc Murphy, Tom Mitchell, Dylan Shiel Dayne Zorko, Kyal Horsely Matthew Leuenberger, Ben McEvoy Jonathan Giles, The Big O Adam Goodes, Nathan Fyfe, Robbie Gray, David Zaharakis, Mitch Robinson, Jason Porplyzia, Andrew Strijk Sam Kerridge, Ahmed Saad Really thought we'd get 3 deep benches this year, not sold on Gray or Port's early draw for that matter. I'm thinking about starting a new FF game this year that involves no salary cap, but rather a draft that involves all of the players in the league. PRO: - each team has their own unique players they barrack for. - game can last for multiple seasons. - draft night will be INSANE fun. - League will be 10-12 teams coached by those who take it well past seriously. CONS: - "Cash Cows" taken out of the game, along with the whole upgrading/downgrading process. Holla at me if any of y'all are interested in being involved. I've got plenty of ideas of other rules to make it work, but I'd rather we all work it consensus stylez. Yerp/
my rough one with what we have to work with thus far: spuddin Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by tolla. Salary cap left: $61,900. Brendon Goddard, Brett Deledio, Greg Broughton, Jack Grimes, Jarryn Geary, Brandon Ellis, Will Sierakowski Nathan Blee, Kyal Horsely Scott Pendlebury, Marc Murphy, Joel Selwood, Jobe Watson, Chad Wingard, Dylan Shiel Tom Mitchell, Elliott Kavanagh Shane Mumford, Matthew Leuenberger Orren Stephenson, Jonathan Giles Lance Franklin, Matthew Pavlich, Dayne Beams, Robbie Gray, David Zaharakis, Jason Porplyzia, Tommy Walsh Ahmed Saad, Dayne Zorko
@ Hornsy If you're interested in draft style fantasy football I have a couple of teams needing new coaches in one of my Keeper Leagues at Ultimate Footy and I also plan to set up a new Keeper League on there as well - if you, or any other TS members are interested let me know @ SKT I noticed in the Adelaide Advertiser yesterday in a SuperFooty article highlighting some potential SC cheapies that Wilkes was listed as a F/M, not a B as they have him on Fan Footy!!!
Not sure how they thought that one up SKT, but I thought there might be something in it seeing that the Advertiser's SuperFooty section is all part of the News Limited conglomerate that runs SC!!!
He should be a F/B as thats exactly what he was last year. Half year in backline before moving forward to average 3.8 goals a game!!
@ BB Have sent you a friend request - that way will be able to send you a PM when UF site opens again

Walsh (A. Saad, B. Ah Chee) CASH LEFT: $800 No cash for early mistakes though
@BF Checked out the site, it certainly has me curious. The scoring system is quite different, I'd always envisaged a SC style scoring system with similar player positions. Definitely interested though.
Ultimate Footy does look interesting. Draft Night would be kick ass. I'm definitely keen. Interesting scoring system how you also earn points by winning categories of stats. Adds another dimension. Still spots left BF?
@ Tino Planning to set up a TS league on there (preferably as a Keeper league) so there is definitely a spot for you - so far have you, BB, Hornsy & myself keen. Have sent you a friend request so I can PM you when the site re-opens to set the league up
