Let's get the ball rolling nice and early by registering your interest on here. If you are new to this league, please let us know your country of current residence.
Hi Terry Keen to join if there's space available. I'm currently in London, giving it to the Poms about their cricket team and quietly dreading the Olympic medal talley. Cheers Damo
PS ~ Tibby...I threw this up a week ago but stuck it in the Writers Guild by mistake: Getting in early after being awol for the last 4 months..... Last year we created a league that is open only to those overseas, except for Anth who has a life long membership to the Expats after moving back home during the season. Some of the worldly hotspots included Bangkok, Chiang Mai, San Diego, Japan, Hanoi, Dubai, UK, NYC, PNG, Norway, Spain & Sri Lanka Terry runs the HS signup etc (hint hint mate) but if your interested in joining this years Expats please note your interest below, including locale. Tks, Soz
Tibby and Snoz, I'm in again if you will have me. If we have the two leagues as mentioned at one point towards the end of the season last year, I would also like to nominate my son to participate if there are slots available. Cheers from sunny Singapore, Bill
Well, well, some new blood! Great stuff and welcome. And Snoz has come out of his snooze. Here da SC code: 914922 Climb aboard folks (including that dirty apartment in Jakarta)! There was some talk of 2 expat leagues - let's see how we go.
hows it goin? been doing supercoach for a few years but this is my first year on TS, im in prague btw, hope theres still room left
g'day TiB, hope all is well. I am in if you promise to go easy on the sheep worrier jokes! Have just discovered TS is fine on IE but knacked on Firefox for me; apologies for joining the league without comment here! regards chels
Ah the dulcet tones of the cello. Seems this year we have a much higher level of interest, so what we will do is this: Easty will run the same group as last year, with a few minor changes. He will contact direct by mail, after which, Snoz, bjaensch and J can, if they wish, withdraw from here and sign on over there. I will stick with this new group to admin and entertain for season 2012 and focus on getting our ranking up to speed. Collective skills of both leagues should rise as a result. chels, you can join either or both. No doubt your company/skills would be appreciated here and I will promise no goat-roping jokes.
Boys and girls, it was not byes that destroyed grey matter last year, it was trying to work out who was which was what in our league. We have team names, coach names and TS names, so this year we will try and put it together. So far we have identified: 1.Crossy Crusaders/Jesse/crossy/Prague 2.celery/graeme 3.Richmond Putty Tats/Damien/DamoH/London 4.Patong Pirates/Bomba 5.Bags of Charity/Joel 6.StrategicSchnitzel/Ash/ashb/London 7.The Thunderbays/Suren/Thunderbay/Hong Kong 8.Red Whiners/Terry/TerryinBangkok/Bangkok 9.Selwood United/Andrew Please help fill in the gaps and welcome new coaches. We are Too Serious, but we tend to have a bit of fun as well. While the focus is on friendly combat round by round, we do at the same time try to collectively keep our overall league ranking climbing.
I'm in guys - loved this league last year !! Bucks Fizz / Steve / Port Moresby PNG Bring on the footy - great time of year.
So Tibby, I'm assuming that as the Potential Expat League of 2011 was so popular we now have all corners of the world coming in. I'm in this original one with the new expats....lets see how many of last year come back ~ we should be able to fill an Expats 1 & 2 ~ and then chop & change if needed. Simonoz/Snoz/COC ~ NYC
Hey TiB - just got back from a month in Jakarta and surrounds. The hills over Sukabumi made me think I need to ask you if it may be a nice spot to put a few asian vines... As the psuedo expat just let me know if you cant fill a spot. btw I'll have you know the apartment is sparkling in JKT, in much contrast to the rest of the town.
