As Gomer Pyle was want to say, "surprise, surprise, surprise". I didn't think there would be enough of us out there, but there just might be. Sign up here. Do it. And let's show them all that next year a spoon can be a weapon of mass destruction.
Cheers TiB No doubt you've seen the Port supporters jumping on board to be part of the SA League You can count on me to be in this mate - and I know there is 4 more already looking forward to being involved (PowerProudFC, Gabrielle, MustangSAreQuick & Dave80) - certainly hope we'll also be enjoying your company as well Am also prepared to take on the Admin duties of this one as well, unless someone else would like to take it on.
Yep - definite in! I gather that PowerProud still has another mate he was inviting? I think he said he'd get 2 on here. So there's another one. bearfly I think you'll make a good admin - so I think you take it on for this League as well.
Tks Bear, was thinking of taking it upon myself, but you are likely to live longer and this road will go on forever. Easier if you are watching both as well. We will try to pounce on Steve in the chat and of course I'm in.
We need to get Knucklebusters & TheOnion into the SA-League - they've been chatting in the other forums!!!
Just giving this a wee bump so we are back on the front page and hopefully those hundreds of Port fans on TS will see it and leap aboard.
Looks like the old thread could've been lost while the chief was tinkering over the off-season. Will search around for the names of those who posted their interest last year - I know I wrote them down somewhere.
Welcome gravenger. Surely we can dig up another 7 Port purists on TS? Much as he is a very untypical crow eater, would hate to have to ask Onion to join us.
Have sent PM's to Gabrielle, Dave80 & AlbinoRhino about the league Terry - they're 3 that I could remember were interested. Hopefully won't be too long before they respond & join the league.
Will be with you in spirit (or something) Bear, hope Melbourne turns on some decent weather. Any updates on Adelaide Oval development? Also PA web site is giving a run down on players, starting with DEF. Not bad.
Melbourne weather can't be much worse than what we've had here in Lincoln since Tunarama finished - been lucky if we've had anything higher than 24, and had a bit of rain and strong winds thrown in - what the hell happened to summer!!!! As for the Oval development, I'm pretty sure the main work will start as soon as the cricket season is over. The article about the Defence group is good - makes me think young Jonas is a very strong chance to be upgraded to the main list.
I'll get myself into this and the SA League once I get on the site next, so don't worry, I'm still committed to joining, just taking a little longer due to being chocca block hours at work!
