This has probably already been discussed but I cannot find it. Does anyone have the winning team from last year? What his starting team was? Would be good to see (as was the winner's from 2010)
Plenty of posts on Tooserious way back when about Impromptu's journey. Probably worth looking at the archives in September.
I'm pretty sure Impromptu wrote an article/s outlining his starting team and trades... can't seem to find it though.
Impromptu is writing a whole lot of stuff over at his own blog: http://supercoachscores.com/ Also try some of the earlier Beat the Best articles on here.
Here ya go champ, this is the interview we did with them last year. http://tooserious.net/a-retrospective-part-iii-impromptusce There's also a link to 2nd and 3rds team as well.
Jock Reynolds has an analysis & breakdown of his trading on his site, not sure about external link rules so not posting it...
Awesome! Thanks for the link! Love the laid back attitude he showed with those early trades of Sandilands!
Lenh, just chuck the link up, then he gets a trackback here to know where people are viewing his site from Still I think our interview is the BOMB
Hey all - http://tooserious.net/tag/beat-the-best you can go through the video tapes of my journey in TooSerious. Just google 'TooSerious Beat the Best' Yes, I know where people are viewing my site from and thanks for the visit and comment, Walesy. Edit - Just released Lucas was talking about Jock and not me..LOL
Cheers Lucas, Link is below, it's more of a summary and not at all the same style as what you guys had, good easy reference though for sure.. http://www.jockreynolds.com.au/2011/12/11/the-ancient-art-of-trading/

Quote from Impromptu on February 28, 2012, 23:20 Just released Lucas was talking about Jock and not me..LOL
Pretty funny really. I actually like the way different sites do things. Some do it humourously, some with a lean to DT, others give you stuff like what's on the Herald Sun confidential pages. I think this one is probably the best for reasoned analysis but often with the group think you can miss that spark of brilliance needed to get the absolute top of the tree. Hence I think people here can be confident of a top 2500 place or thereabouts, but the chances of winning comes when you set out on a journey with the courage to lose sight of the shore. (Such as the Goddard move and the Sandilands "rope-a-dope" trades) Enjoy your year as reigning Premier, Mr Scarlet Pimpernel
