Who'd be a defender? We're ignoring the best defenders in the game because they dont play well with SC (or the Brownlow.) Sad! My Defence is running as follows: Goddard, Scotland, Broughton Lake, Clarke 4 rookies (today: Darley, Ellis, Smedts, Bugg) I dont love the idea of 3/2/4. Would rather 4/1/4 but I keep coming back to Lake and Clarke as certainties to offer a reasonable score and a good cash return. Hargreave/Lake are a pretty interchangeable in my opinion Finally, I've decided to put Lids in the mid. Like the DPP in case Goddard goes south for the winter I'm a passionate blues fan, and while I'd love Bower to shine this year, I just cant see it. He doesnt seem to have the faith of the coaching department, and is probably fighting for 1 or 2 positions with Russel, Thornton, Laidler, Matthew Watson and perhaps even Armfield? (Also think we'll see that Gibbs is the best general back there and he'll fill one of those roles osme times). Without Jamieson in round one he might snag a game, but I'd be surprised if he can string together more than a few games in a row. Thoughts? Brad
I would guess Hargrave BB, but how can you really be sure? There's also merit in discussing Guthrie. I remember discussion on here leading me towards leaving him out but he's pressing to be included again, at maybe at expense of Bugg or Darley. Anyone from Geelong shed more information on him?
Chalk him down for 150+ games for the cats. Rock solid. But right now I can have him in front of the 2 Giants or the two Tiges boys when it comes to JS. And they're cheaper too! He is a ripper though and I'd love to be totally incorrect and he tears it up this year.
Anyone else thinking of jumping off Scotland after his police investigation? http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/131009/default.aspx

No real change to any other preseason. He's not in my team, but more to price that anything else. I wouldn't throw him out because of it though.
Scotland never seems to get much credit or love from SC fans, which is surprising considering he scored more points and averaged more than Deledio last year. He's a lock for mine.
<blockquote>Quote from Nick on March 20, 2012, 21:54 Me too NTS. I've got him in but no Goddard this year. </blockquote> I was toying with going fisher over Goddard; his NAB has been pretty poor by his standards, just not sure if I'll be able to go through with it...We all remember in 2010 when he averaged 130...
Guys - best NAB SC scoring players under $200K based on PPM are (note: must have played >100mins): 1.ELLIS 2.GUTHRIE 3.TOMLINSON 4.JONAS 5.BOUMANN 6.BRENNAN 7.BUGG 8.MORRIS 9.CLARKE 10.BOWER
Thanks dw good work, wish that was up 2hr's ago would of saved me going through the whole list of nab scores!! Out of them 10 who do people expect to play rnd1 to rnd 4???? Dont want a repeat of pedersen last year or webberley
Thanks DW. Looks like a few of those guys have slipped under the radar and aren't in a lot of teams. Tomlinson and Bouman are the interesting ones for mine. I'm starting to wonder what their JS is like.
<blockquote>Quote from FixEmUp on March 21, 2012, 20:23 Just out of curiosity, where can i find all the NAB scores? </blockquote> http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/supercoach-news/every-supercoach-nab-cup-score/story-fn88c7kz-1226306301167
Guthrie for mine offers great value. Will take the place of Wojac whilst injured and will actually hold his spot imo. What's everyone's thoughts on Waters? I'm considering going with him rather than a Scotland to free up more $ for other positions.

My calculations give best NAB SC scoring players under $200k based on average points per 100 minutes (must have played >100 minutes) as: 1. Giles (119.7) 2. Redden (112.7) 3. Miles (99.3) 4. Coniglio (95.7) 5. Stringer (89.9) =6. Ellis (89.1) =6. Skinner (89.1) 8. Ledger (87.5) 9. K.Stevens (87.0) 10. D.Smith (83.7) What did I do differently to you in the calculations?
