surely that teams good enough theyll all play pretty soon even if not round 1 and its really about how we manage the team, isnt it?

We have agreed to wait until tomorrow (lunchtime?) for the team to be formally locked in so if any SC stats come out/today tomorrow morning they may help to decide the last few rookie spots. Lots of punters joined up yesterday so hopefully we can keep up the momentum. All of you who are in already should defintely mention this comp to any SC junkie mates you have as the more the merrier! I know we can't leave it up to the last minute, but for the rookies (outside of Syd/GWS) surely we should be waiting until at least the squad announcements before making it final.
Midge We need to ensure that all players have the same team. If a rookie does not play round 1, we are all in the same boat. The only change that should be considered after the final squad is announced would be due to an LTI. This seemed to work OK last year. I don't think it makes too much difference in selecting a rookie 9 days or 2 days before teams are announced. Either way, we will not know who is going play.

In the end its about everyone having the same team (good or bad). In my book if anyone has extreme doubts about players getting named next week they should load up with the GWS players on field or as EMG this week (rather than leaving them as D9/M8/R4 or F9 where their points could potentially be wasted). Then if armageddon hits you could potentially get 50-100 points in front early!

There seems to be a few people out there wanting Fyfe in the team. For all the Fyfe wanters out there, Do we want to do a straight swap for StevieJ? I'd prefer SJ, but im biased. My blood bleeds navy and white.
Fyfe, clean swap for SJ. (biased? look at my logo!) Oh, and Supercoach Scores for the nab cup will be released WEDNESDAY NIGHT, so I suggest we lock this team in by Thursday lunch time, and make NO changes after that (no matter what teams are picked).
