For the &#36;20k difference between Giles and Stephenson/Redden though Anthak, you buy JS and the likelihood of him playing most games for the year. That's worth it in my book.</blockquote>
good advice mate - as usual
    Ive brought him back in.

"His introduction to serious AFL footy is:

    Round 1 Sydney - Mumford
    2 North - Goldstein
    3 WCE - Cox
    4 Adelaide - Jacobs

    Ouch!"

Last year Z.Smith got 79 against mumford, 92 against goldstein, 118 against cox, 92 against jacobs 1st time he met each of them</blockquote>

Good call Temenos. Hitouts are only part of the picture - it's what he does around the ground that will really dictate how well he scores.

Cox, Hale, Giles, Redden What do people think? i have changed my mind heaps of times with Hale but his SC scores were excellent and reading about Roughie surely Hale will get a fair bit of TOG.

    Thoughts?

Hey guys, apologies for posting here, but can anybody explain how I enter scores for a player in the stats section to give me his worth? When I enter amounts nothing changes. Am I missing something? Cheers

I'm going Mumford, Hale, Giles, Redden.

Mummies last NAB cup game sealed the deal on R1 for me, especially with Natanui on the improve.

Still might switch Kreuzer for Hale. But looks like Hale is guaranteed game time with Bailey out and Carlton has two other strong ruck options.

    Hale or Kreuzer?

guys the bigM having a injury free pre season and last time he did that in 2010 his was 1 of the prem rucks in the comp before crumbling to injury, with goldstien taking points off him i still think at mid price is a good option as he will drift forward on most occasions
    my rucks..KREUZ BIGM (giles,redden)

Does any body have an accurate opinion as to how many games Orren Stephenson will play? Want to figure out roughly how much &#36;&#36;&#36;&#36; he will make by the time Vardy and Co take his spot!

    "accurate opinion"

Isn't that an oxymoron like military intelligence or council action?

I would guess that Big O will be in the mix for the first half of the season, longer if he goes well.

    Cox and Mumford.

Can't do any better then that in the rucks.

Will you have the courage to stick with that team when others do the 1-0-3 strategy and their other 3 lines look alot better than yours?</blockquote>

I'm playing only the two premiums in the middle in Pendles and Ablett which has freed up space for 6 premiums down back and 4 up forward (will likely downgrade one of my defenders to upgrade a fwd though).

@obleex, Cox & Mumford ?, thats as good as it gets in the ruck, imo. Like someone else said, it'll test your faith in them when they're other lines look more attractive than yours.

Also, Cox & Mumford will probably drop in value, whereas the 3 rookies everybodys on will climb a bit.

I went Mumford, Longer, Redden, Giles.

@Muttley, ballsy move going with Longer. 18 year old ruckman aren't traditionally known to have the best job security. He's probably got better scoring potential than Big O, but unless Leuenberger or Hudson go down with injuries, I can't see him playing that many games this year. Vossy will throw him in to get some development, but I think an extended run in the reserves will probably be his lot this year.

Starting to turn towards Kreuzer, hes going to be needed deep in the back half so could pick up some cheap points.

Can any Tiger supporter or anyone else give me some info on muture aged Tom Derickx. Hes not mentioned too often. Will he get a gamen???
