So we've past lockout and seen the majority of our teams play. Some good results, some bad. I stuffed up thinking guthrie would be vested and replaced him with morris! grrr. What stuff ups did you make?
Choosing Watson over Thompson...but it's only round 1 so he may be better longer term. Also chosing Clarke over Guthrie but again he may be better longer term.
last minute trade of lake in, hargrave out, devon smith on field kennedy on bench, otherwise through ok..
Way too many stuff ups...its a disaster. McDonald Kennedy and Bugg on bench (can live with that). Backline has more hole than a crumpet; Broughton and Lake...major decisions to be made.
McDonald on bench. Boumann, Ledger, Paine, Dickson, Morris all have poor JS and/or scoring potential. I'll keep Broughton but he looks set to have plenty of low scoring games like last year. Mohr and C. Smith were bad misses.
Spending $1 million on Newman and Broughton not looking smart... but spending $900K on Ryder and Kreuzer is!!
As with most others, lake. Though i have faith he will come good, and the eagles have a damn good forward line. Also going dickson over hall.
Having Kennedy on the bench while Shiel's score counts. Ignoring last minute ideas such as swapping Dangermouse for Zaharakis. And even worse...trading Goddard for Broughton. My whole team has played now apart from some bench players in play still. 2041 isn't too bad considering if I had certain players on the field it would have been 2169. Still pretty disappointed.
Picking Lake maybe a mistake. Not sure yet. But I managed to pick a guy in my midfield who got suspended for breaking the jaw of another guy in my midfield. Kismet?

Starting Shiel over Magner, Morris over Mohr. Dickson looked a bit spud like. Ablett captain over Pendles. Otherwise looking good.
Hard to tell after 1 round. Lake was playing his first game of footy (not including NAB) in almost a year? I'm sure he'll improve on his score today. Broughton is the one that worries me. All pre season I had Adcock in until an hour before lockout when I swapped them!
where to begin... had birchall all pre season n chose broughton over him. Putting Lake in. Magner, Kennedy and giles on bench while having shiel, smith and redden on field. Had Dal Santo for ages n put Swan over him (bit early to tell on this 1) Morris instead of Mohr Dickson on field. FML
2 donuts in the FWD line with Gray and Saad, didn't know Gray was out. Wrong captain and extra 200 points sitting on bench.

My better half didn't understand partial lockout and thought she could still switch players to and from the bench until full lockout. Which meant that Giles was locked in at R2 and Ryder's score was on the bench at R3.
Apart form a few players on the bench that should of been playing, pretty happy with my team overall. Two big changes though will most likely be..... Lake >>>> Just about anyone (Seriously considering K.Hunt). Swan >>>> Pendles. Sideways as all f@ck but worth it I reckon.
