Don't go to KHunt, whatever you do. Dempsey not the worst option if you must trade sideways from Lake.

I started Morris over Bugg and Mohr. I should've known one blonde Richmond rookie backman was enough. Not thrilled with Marty Clarke either, but he didn't look too out of place. I think his scoring will improve.
I would caution against sideways trading full-stop. But I can see your reasons for considering pulling the trigger on both Lake and also wanting Pendles. Swan has started a season relatively slowly before, and then come good. I think he had a massive number of touches for 90-odd though, nothing to get too worried about I wouldn't have thought.

Quote from Bearfly on April 1, 2012, 22:07 Choosing Ledger and Yagmoor ahead of Clay Smith & Guthrie (had the cash to go Guthrie) - also having Morris & Dickson on field hurt
Same took Ledger over Clay Smith & had Morris and Dickson on field also...
@fidel Stevens is no chance of playing next week or anytime soon with our midfield. Do you have some sort of communist man love for the boy?

Quote from hawks2008 on April 1, 2012, 17:02 As with most others, lake. Though i have faith he will come good, and the eagles have a damn good forward line. Also going dickson over hall.
It seems everyone that had Lake are quick to get rid of him. He had a shocker, but I agree he will come good, not as good as a few years ago but still worth the risk.

It's the perfect opportunity.
Seriously considering a sideways rookie trade...shiel for clay smith. Also a Lake for Guthrie or Mohr. Even potentially Swallow for Pendles. I'll wait another round, but happy to burn 3 trades early and then hopefully not have to worry! Still don't understand why I took out Zaha for Dangermouse when I knew Zaha would improve this year!
Hindsight is wonderful. Yagmoor, Boumann, Morris, Paine, Dickson. I can forgive Morris and Dickson as I think many around here are in the same boat but Yagmoor & Boumann wtf! Got Magner, C Smith, Bugg, Kennedy, D Smith along with everyone's Redden & Giles. That should equate to 4 premiums if they continue to moo.
oh yeah im made some fantastic decisions Broughton for Birchell ( And im a one eyed hawks supporter ) Swan for Pendless ( although swan should pick the pace up eventually ) Lake in ( oh yeah so they say he had a great pre season , who are these experts anyways lol ) but the best two were Magner and Clay Smith were sitting on the bench keeping it warm nice lol Bring on Round 2 Shags
Cunningham (5) on field, with magner (102) parked on the bench, Similar with lake (30) on field and Bugg (88) on the bench. Still with carrying lake and Cunningham on field i got 2241 so happy overall so far. No one can seriously be pulling the trigger this week surely? You picked Em so back Em! The first trade that is acceptable has to b the cashcow rookie trades b4 R3!
My 2 cents - I was torn between Enright and Adcock. Went Enright. Doh. I'll give them another week, and if they repeat last week's performance, I might do the sideways Enright -> Adcock. Then at a later date I can retrieve Enright at a reduced price. Preferably after he starts scoring ok. Other than that ok, although I'd have been happier if Jimmy McDonald had refrained from getting himself suspended. Still, plenty of bench cover, and on the evidence of Rd 1, Jimmy will be mooing nicely in a few weeks.
Keeping Levi casboult on bench when friend said he had a 2-3 week injury while it turns out he meant months not weeks!
I'm not sold on Adcock yet. I'll wait until he plays Carlton before considering a corrective trade. Remember he started last year big but did struggle against the better teams.
Miles and Ledger both on the field, Magner and C. Smith on the bench and no emergencies selected. I did have Bugg and Kennedy on the field though.
