Agree with Dino with regard Wells. More likely than Swallow to go large. Petrie is a bit more of a risk. I'm going with walseys suggestion of going rockliff vice captain.
There's another partial lockout this week, so you could throw the VC on Murphy or Judd if you hve them to receive the double chance. Obviously it depends on whether Magner comes up from his ankle injury, but will work well if you have Junior McDonald on your bench. But will be sticking with Ablett this week.
If I was a gambler I would put the C on Cloke as I think he will have plenty of opportunities against the tiges backline. If it is is nice night forecast for sat I may just give it a punt and hope her has 4.3 by half time with the game out of reach...... but I'll probably stick with pendles or ablett!
Rocklobster as VC as solid each way. A more pertinent question might be which rookies we are putting on the ground this week as there was mass carnage for those people with 150 points lost to the bench. Shiel for example is difficult.
Just a clarification on the loophole. If I put the VC on the Lobster and he carves it up, so I name a non player (i.e. Jr Mac) as C. What happens with the emergency mid I nominate, do they just cover Jr Mac's score and Lobster becomes the default capt? Or does the emergency become the capt? I presume its the former, but now i'm second guessing.
Kinda wish I had a car or bri player on my list to give VC to, but don't. So think I'll be going with Pendles as C, and GAJ VC. DT is harder for me. Boomer and Swan my main options, but I'm not convinced with either of them.

with the loophole couldnt u name say Pendles as Captain then a Carl or Bris players Vice capt and then swap jmac onto the field and select him as captain from Pendles tomorrow if you wanted to keep say Murphy as Captain ??
Yes Turbs, that's correct. I'll be doing the same with Murphy, but he would need to score 150 + imo There is also a slight risk in that IF one of your other midfielders is a late withdrawal then you don't have cover on the bench.
