Has anybody tried to do the new trading a DPP thing yet? I understand how it is supposed to work but just can't see how you actually do do it on the SC site. When you go to trade a player out it is still asking for the player you want to trade in - as a pair and is not giving you the option of somehow doing the actual substitution bit of the DPP. Well that seems to be the case as I a bit scared to go any further in case I get locked into doing the wrong thing. Here is the rule from SC site. •DUAL POSITION PLAYER TRADES - You'll now have more flexibility with how you trade, by being able to move dual position players within your team during the trading process - without having to have a 'matching' dual position player in the other position. For example, you may: For example, you may: a) elect to trade out a Forward who is not a dual position player. b) If you have a Defender who is also a Forward, you may substitute them into the Forward spot left vacant by the player you elected to trade out. c) You'll now have a vacant Defender spot on your team. d) In effect, you are therefore trading out a Forward for trading in a Defender.
You nominate the player you want to trade out on the right hand side of screen - if you're trading out a defender, for example, the box next to it will say 'select defender' or something along those lines. On the left, if you have a DPP that can swing to defense, you can click on them (there is an icon), they will be moved to defense, and now the second box on the right hand side will say 'select <insert position DPP player was originally in>' Ie: Select Morris to trade out Select Smedts (in forward line)to replace Morris' position down back Now the 'select player to bring in' box will be asking for a forward
The red line's showing where Brennan was, then if I click the "S" after Smedts, he swaps from forward to defence, filling the gap in defense where the red line was, the red line moves to where Smedts was moved from, buy Kennedy & he fills that void. All sorted out it would seem I was in the wrong place. Was in trades and that confused me and didn't work. Went into substitutions and worked right away. Cheers
Above what does the padlock represent against Rocklift's name If it means locked in, how is it done and why not more lock in's above.
Partial lockout means that Rockliff cannot currently be traded out of your team, or moved to the bench, etc.
