With Fyfe maybe gone for a while, I'm contemplating a couple of scenarios. 1. Fyfe to either Lewis / Sidey / Danger 2. Fyfe to Stanley and bank the cash for a rainy day 3. Fyfe to Whitecross and Cameron to Stanley. I'm leaning towards this one but am concerned that the averages produced by WhiteX and Stanley for 2012 may be abnormally high. Thoughts?
When do we get news if Fyfe's season is over ?. Or are you guys putting him out anyway ?. If he is gone, he's going into my mids. I'm not too taken with the rookie scoring in there so might go hard early and get another premium in. Good luck to Fyfey though, rough on a young bloke.
http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/afl/13438331/dockers-wait-and-see-over-fyfe-surgery/
Fremantle look set to delay a decision on whether star midfielder Nat Fyfe requires major shoulder surgery until later in the week. It is understood the Dockers will seek further medical opinion from a shoulder specialist after Fyfe underwent scans on his injured left shoulder yesterday afternoon. Fyfe dislocated his shoulder in the second quarter of Saturday's 29-point victory over the Brisbane Lions at Patersons Stadium. It was the same shoulder which was reconstructured at the end of the 2011 season. Fyfe did not have his shoulder strapped during yesterday's recovery session at Bicton Pool but did not use his left arm for swimming.

If Fyfe did not use his left arm for swimming he would have gone around and around in circles. A bit like this thread. I'm using MPP to trade the one armed windmill into a gun mid.....possibly Joey Kennedy from the Swans.
My plan is a little left field (only going for leagues). Put him on the bench this week, then see hoe Treloar goes this week, the following week trade Fyfe for Treloar. Then in a few weeks time I will be able to upgrade my midfield to with Murphy and possibly Boyd, Mitchell, Kennedy etc. It will give me a full midfield of Ablett, Pendles, Watson, Selwood, Murphy, and one of the above. Just not sure there are really any other forwards that are reliable so would rather downgrade fully.
I'm liking the look for JPK for mine. not over expensive. Although Lenny Hayes is looking pretty good for a cheap premo
After 3 100+ scores, St. Nick has come into my considerations. Will wait for word on Fyfe first, though.
Fyfe, even if he is fit enough to play in the coming week, will not be 100% for the rest of the year. Does anyone want to risk that he won't get another knock to the shoulder and have to go off injured again? Down the drain goes another $50K and possibly league and overall standings. Nup, trade him out. The guy won't be fit this year until he get things fixed properly.

No love at all for the idea of Kurt Tippett who has managed to punch out 128 in a game where his team got flogged by a Top 4 side?? He's got a BE of 62 while averaging 120 and games against GWS & Port next on the menu.
Are you refering to Hawthorn and Schoenmakers? Relton Roberts could score 128 against them. But the crows do have a nice draw.
thinking off swapping him to mids and then trading him for luke shuey, looks like a big year from him!!
I'd say it's fairly atypical for a full forward to help himself to 128 points when his team is caned by 10 goals on the road by a Top 4 team regardless of who the opposing full back is. The other option I'm looking at is switch Fyfe into the middle and ditch Ledger to bring in JPK in the middle and Rhys Stanley into the forwards. However, if Dempsey doesn't come up that would leave me munching a donut in the backline with Grimes now suspended. Tough times.
For me its between barlow and jpkennedy. i think kennedy has the potential to be one of the top mids by the end of the year, however barlo is very tempting at 440k after two sub effectedscores. the big question on barlow is if hell be one of the top 10 mids by the end of the year. if hes only avering around 100, it probably isnt good enough when others are averaging 120+.
The question of trading him out remains considering he is still only one solid bump or tackle away from redoing the injury and again going down with possibly worse results. I would personally from a sc perspective prefer him to be categorically ruled out to get the shoulder properly repaired rather than hoping every week that his shoulder will survive contact. I am unsure as to the exact damage he has sustained but i can't possibly believe that strapping alone is an adequate solution for the long term.
Well hes the most popular trade out so far this week on SC, over 2100 have already put him into Tippett. Other names to some degree also. The reverse button allows Monday trades !.
