That's what I'm asking! I reckon he could be a vest candidate. He's my emergency this week (going Morris in preference), but I'm hoping Dempsey and Bower both start.

Funny eh, preseason talk was all about how good Ellis was going to be and how Morris would have the poorer JS and now it seems to have all turned 180 degrees in Morris's favour. I think Ellis is really going to have to pull his socks up fast if it's not already too late for him.

It's a mystery. Morris has definitely looked a better fit for the tiges in the games i'v seen so far. Ellis has potential though - particularly impressed with his tackling ability. Up against what looks to be a demolition down at the cattery, the tiges match commitee could either decide to throw the younger guys like Ellis to the wolves and see how they respond or give him a rest and save him some mental and physical bruising.

Curious to know %'s, Morris owners v Ellis owners.
Pre season thread "Ellis Vs Morris" saw about 10 posters in Ellis' corner,
versus just Jason and I in favour of Morris,
with a few stating they were taking both & a few saying neither.
My cash league's full of Ellis owners, & just a couple have both.
I'd guess there'd be well over 5 or 6 times as many coaches who took Ellis over Morris.

Most of the leaderboards top 20 have Ellis & no Morris,
If Ellis ends up being emergency, there'll be donuts in defence for thousands of coaches this round.

After my Broughton > Dempsey epic fail trade of last round,
Ellis to miss here could make me up some lost ground.

Not many players under 20 will play every game in a season.

The norm would be to rest them intermittently.

I've got the napkin out, ready for a doughnut served up by Ellis on the Shaws of a Lake.

Branford marcEllis is a great sax player
and will play in the 2's i reckon.
I wish Hardwick wld consider putting the guy on the ball - not just for SC reasons ;)

From the tigers site: The Tigers’ three emergencies for Sunday’s match are Luke McGuane, Angus Graham and Jeromey Webberley. Seems like Ellis will play but will start on interchange.

That's what we want to hear! I have both Ellis and Morris.

Nice cover for Lake and Shaw...considering a lot of ball will be in Richmond's back half on Sunday :)
