Few players to pick from for the vice captain loophole for ANZAC day. Most Supercoach teams will have 1/2 of these players. Watson Stanton Ryder Pendles Swan Cloke Who are you picking and why? Personally I have only Watson and Ryder and might put the VC on Ryder as he should dominate the ruck!
Looking at either Pendles or Ryder myself DC. Pendles churns out some big scores in the big games but like you i also believe Ryder should dominate the ruck. Decisions, decisions! How does the whole loophole thing work again? I asked the question yesterday in another thread and was given an answer but still not 100 percent on it(Dont want to bugger it up and it cost me 100 points or more through my stupidity!!!). Do you select the VC on a player you think will score big in the ANZAC game, put the C on a non scoring player(Ablett) and if your happy with the VC's score you leave as is?? Or is there more to it? Obviously you need to have bench cover for your C in that particular area of your team(Which i do). Or would that mean the emergency gets the C? I think i just confused myself even more!
Like this Before the partial lockout put the VC on Pendleburger. If he scores big put a non-player (Abblett say) on the field as captain MAKING SURE YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY IN THE MIDS TO COVER HIS DONUT. If Pendles spuds put the C on someone else you think will do better, and have ablett on the bench un-emergencied as yo would normally.
Oh and make sure pre-partial lockout the Captain is on someone NOT in the ESSvsMAGPIES game. You can change it after to whoever you like that way.
I have Pendles and Watson. Pendles scores historically well on Anzac day so depending on his rumour of a calf strain him. If not I will do Watson.
@22nd, you can still use non-playing players from other lines eg put Heath Shaw on the field and put the C on him, then have the emergency back come on for his score.

*Vice Captain... you know what I mean. I think he will lead the mighty bombers to a rousing Anzac day victory with a 150+ SC score!!!
Im going Swan.....may have hit his straps last week...sting out of the ground brings him right into it....may be a less popular pick today so hoping it pays off and i grab a few sneaky points on my opposition.....good luck to all!
Just be wary that if you do the vice-captain loophole it will leave you with no emergency cover on that line for the rest of the round.
Right, now i need to get this sorted! First time sc player here. I put the vc on Swan (182!!!!) Wow. i have probable non starters like tunbridge (wce) adams(gws) or cunningham (sydney). Do i put one of them on the field with the C on them? Then put a definate starter, like goddard on the bench but name him as emergency? What if one of my non starters actually plays? Then i will be screwed? Any help appreciated.
Pretty sure I'll be taking Pendles' 140. Boyd may well go even bigger but common sense says stick with what you've got.
