who does everyone think? both similar players in good team, leaning towards thompson seems to be slightly more durable and consistent

Thomson has the better finals run, better hammies and doesn't play for Essendon. Sorry last bit is the hawks supporter in me

Thompson. Is such a underrated gun. Crows easy fixture all year makes him oh so awesome!

Thompson in for Murphy this week. He's the least selected of the Top 10 mids, has a great fixture all season, and proven that he score consistently week in, week out. Oh how Melbourne must regret trading him away. They could really do with his leadership and hardness right now.

    Watson for me,
Thommo's been awesome but at his age he's too risky,
10 years ago, if I copped a knock to the leg, would be right the next day,
now that same knock would see me limping for a week,
ageing's gotta catch up with even the best of them eventually.
Watson in his prime the safer bet IMO.

i would go thommo, purely because hes not on my team..

of all the 8 or 9 major injuries this year iv had all but one (swan), starting to think anyone on my team is destined to get injured. iv warned my mates who are bombers supporters considering i have watson and zakarah and both cant be far from injury haha

And I told you to trade them out! He's not lying guys, Markaninos is cursed this year :D

  10. I have Jobe but no Thompson, but would say Thommo over Jobe for me.

Thommo is the leading player in his team, Danger will cop more tags now and he has a great draw.

Jobe is now the second leading player in his team behind Stanton, and while Stanton will get more tags his early form cannot be discounted.

I've been way too burned by jobe's injuries in the past. That's the main difference. Plus the Crows have a better drawer.

Thompson easily for me. Great draw for Adelaide. Played 22 games last year compared to Watson's 16, so surely he is less of an injury risk. As for tagging. It's not like his form is anything new... surely if he can beat a tag last year (av. 110) he can do it again. That is if he is targeted, I would have though Dangerfield was a more pressing concern for opposition teams. That's just my 2 cents.
