He hasn't been in good form both playing wise and sc wise and don't know what to do with him. It's not affecting my scores too much but he is sitting there getting his 60's every week. The only problem with shipping him out of my team is that he is the type of player that can kick 10 goals on the best opponents (kicked 10 on Glass 2 years ago). Just leave him and he will come good or send him packing?
The only thing I can say is that I took the same punt you did with him last year. I kept him for the same reason you're considering. I didn't even think about him for one second for my team this season.
With the Tigers game style (immense forward line pressure) he struggles to find space. I'd trade down to and try and pick up a mid forward. You'll be far better off.
I have him and plan on keeping him for as long as I can. We just have to back him in now. The rookies are the ones that you want to trade. Eventually you will upgrade your forward line and he might end up being your F7. If you reach the finals and he is still going bad then trade him. With luck he might turn good and you have saved yourself a trade.
If you thought he was value at $440K at the start of the year, I reckon you've got to back him to improve as a $360K player now. As a FWD with a Rd 13 bye, I'd certainly keep him until then and trade to a FWD who's already had their bye. It's a tough call but at least use him to dodge a donut. I don't have him but like HPCD, was bitten by him last year.
Take the 117 points and the added value, say thank you very much and still trade him at Rd 13. He's a tease.
We both agree rhino. I only said to keep him til Rd 13 and then trade. But yeah, he looked fantastic tonight so maybe it's 'my bad'. Let's talk again after the last round but good luck to you and JRoo for the rest of the season. He's great to watch.
Miller out of the Tiger side helps him heaps... He was always getting in the way of the kicks towards JRoo earlier in the season...
I never pick key forwards (except Buddy) but after watching Jroo last night...looking like a nice cheap M7. Just hope he doesn't jump too much in value by rd13 when I can get him. If he plays even half as good as that (dream run home) for the season then the Coleman is his to lose!

In hindsight a great buy 2 weeks ago. Expected to jump 50k this week. Will he be this cheap again? Is he worth throwing the dice on the back of 2 stand out scores? Or hold fire and evaluate him and Cloke in weeks to come?
JROo an interesting one now.... the tigers easy draw makes him look tempting. a better bet than cloke in my book.

He can stink it up but he can also rip it up so as long as you don't have too many players like him, should be fine. Dustin Martin on the other hand...
