Who is making trades this week and how many?

I'm looking at going Porps to S. Shaw with the MPP and then going Coniglio to Priddis. IMO Priddis is hard to pass up

And with these trades, I'm looking at only 3 donuts pending team selections.

Sandi's my most pressing issue, but may wait another week. Ellis => Shaw a consideration to cash up for a mega trade R13, to bring in Scott Thompson, Michael Johnson and a Sandi replacement yet to be identified.

Nice move, Priddis will be handy to put the vc on for captain loophole.
I'll be making the max 3 trades this round and next,
Smedts or Clarke to Sam Shaw,
    Magner to Swallow,
Milera to Koby Stevens using mpp.
    no donuts unless surprise omissions.
    11 trades remaining.

    Then r 13 -
    out Morris - in Johnson
    out Horsley - in Swan
    out Hall - in downgrade.
    = 2 donuts.
8 trades remain to see out the season, and 2 players shy of fielding an all premium team.

I'm doing the same Quantum, getting rid of Ellis and Horsely though. My only concern is that the weekend teams won't be named when I do it, so I'll have to pull the trigger before Shaw is named.

3 trades this week and after a devastating 6 donuts last round (sub 1300 score) I may have a full team this week. Most of my injured players seem to have the bye this week.

Got no donuts this week and going for leagues but still might do the Sam Shaw downgrade, and possibly a Priddis upgrade

The Priddis upgrade is a lock for me. Also only looking at 3 donuts...seems like a lot but it's heaven compared to the round just passed.

Horse to Priddis and potentially Hmac to Ryder. Even though he has the BYE, I've been playing with Hmac on the bench for weeks now so really doesn't affect my team at all.

Is there anyone else on the bubble that is worth looking at this week as a possible dg?

2 or 3 for me this week - in a similar boat to H_Dons

HMac > prob Goldy (somewhat ironically)
    Morris > Shaw
    Horse > Priddis or Thompson

If Priddis all 3 this week, if Thompson will wait a week (BE 211)

Priddis at $460k, gotta be the bargain of the season!

Definitely going Zaharakis to Priddis but unsure who to trade for Sandilands. I could grab Naitanui this week or wait a week and pick up either Ryder or Cox. Any suggestions?

How about Goldy Alex? Had his bye and with HMac out of the team looks to be back to pumping out big scores.

I've repeated this multiple times on TS and this fact must be taken into consideration.

HMac missed last year - Goldy borderline all-Australian.

2012- HMac still somehow gets preference over Goldy...averages top 2 rucks in the league until he gets injured.

Goldy comes in - back to his 2011 scoring.

NOTE - HMac will be back by round 16-18, and will come back into the team...effectively rendering Goldy useless or at the very least compromised come finals time.

    Buyer beware.

Any thoughts on Griffin as a ruck option? With Sandilands injury he should be 1st ruck and has shown he can score well in the past with Sandilands out?

I need to decide on whether I make a move on Priddis. I have 2 spots left in my midfield for premiums (Pendlebury, Ablett, Watson and Boyd). Swan will be one of the certainties that will come into my group in a few weeks.
The last spot I was looking at was possibly Thompson (who I can get this week if he is coming from the bye).
They don't seem to be much different in scoring (if you take away Pridis' 2 games that he was sub and injured in?). Up until now, Pridis wasn't on my radar, but comparing him to Thompson, price may be the difference.

That is definitely a risk H-Dons but I'm not so bullish on HMac marching straight back into the team and rendering Goldy "useless".

Knees are a difficult thing for big men to come back from (especially ruckmen who have to jump) and I don't think it's a lay down mizarre that HMac will walk straight back into the team, especially if Goldy continues to play well. If and when he does i'd expect him to spend a lot of time up forward.

Jamo at Carlton had the same injury last year and was out for 7-8 weeks and wasn't really right when he came back, and he's not a ruckman.

A risk that needs to be considered though.

@HotPies - Thompson has a BE of 211 so you may consider waiting a week or 2 if you want him at a better price.
