Looking at trading Ellis out for either Carrazzo or Scotland, what are peoples thoughts on who is the better option? If I go Carrazzo I know it is better to wait a week and probably will depending on team selections this week. If you take a away this injury 3 his average jumps to about 115 but Scotland is also ultra consistent. It a hard call.
I'm looking at that trade in a weeks time. I already have Scotland so i dont need to decide, but due to how cheap Carrots will be, you can't go past him. Also, Ellis is due for perhaps his last price rise this week before he has moo'd all he can. So if you can hold off til then and you arent in a uber tight league game, you'll get more bank for your buck.
Agree with Top Heavy that if you are tight for cash wait a week. But if you are more concerned with gaining points and have to play Ellis (or other rookie) do it this week. I will be getting Carrazzo in this week for Malceski as I can afford to do a straight swap and he should easily outscore Brennan/S.Shaw on my bench.
I have Malceski as well and am going to make him D8, if he isn't named this week or Ellis isn't named I will have to pull the trigger early. Guessing it will be Carrazzo at this stage.
Carrazzo this week for me. Gotta get rid of Hargrave and already have Scotland. I have a weird feeling that carrots is going to do an Ablett this week.

Quote from bama on June 26, 2012, 12:58 Just over his break even, that would be nice but I doubt it!
I'll remember you said that Carrots does really well after being rested unlike some maybe because no Murphy has changed his role who knows. Even if he doesn't break-even he will only go down around 15K
Carrots next week for mine for M Clarke - the price differential will stay about the same so will hold fire

He is much more likely to reach his breakeven (111) than Carrazzo (154).

I know they are predicted to lose about the same amount this round if they hit their averages but I reckon Carrazzo's average is skewed by the injury affected score and he is more likely to score above his average and so have a smaller price drop. Clarke looked out of form this week and is more likely to score at his average or lower or perhaps even be a substitute.

Quote from Chicko on June 26, 2012, 19:01 Carrots next week for mine for M Clarke - the price differential will stay about the same so will hold fire
Yes just curious - if you think the price differential will stay the same, why not pull the trigger this week and get the higher scorer?

Quote from obleex on June 26, 2012, 21:37 Will Carrazzo be under 430 next week? If so can do a straight Clarke swap.
He'll be about 435-440.

Quote from Gonaddz on June 27, 2012, 17:27 Goodes better do better than that 25 on the weekend......
Not too good.... want his price to keep dropping....
