I have around 500K Each to spend for my mates team. I need to Fill one in the Midfield and One in the Forward Line. My Lines look like Mid - Ablett, Selwood J, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, Murphy, (Insert Gun Mid Here) Forward - Dangerfield, Pavlich, Franklin, Porplyzia (Enter Gun Forward Here) Thanks guys!
Well thats a bit much then. I was looking at Sidebum for the FWD Line. Didn't think of Carrots for mids......any other suggestions?
Yep, I can afford them but not sure I should get goodes as his scoring has been a bit on the light side of things. I have him in my team riding the bench through his whole injury and he came back a little bit flat plus his run home isn't against easy opponents.
Kennedy and Fyfe are options as well and also come close-ish to your $1m budget. Depends on your risk tolerance re Fyfe though. Kennedy and Goodes combo also works nicely IMHO. YMMV, my 2 cents etc, etc
bjaensch thanks, that could work too just have to wait and see I guess with the selections. I'm trying to give my mate the best chance so I guess taking a risk isn't a bad idea.

Quote from SuperCoachSuperStar on July 30, 2012, 15:40 I would go Tuck and Goodes.
+1 Given your price restriction you need at least one really cheap option and I think Goodes is the most likely of the cheap options to overperform his price. Then with the remaining money it comes down to the likes of Tuck, Watson or JPK and Tuck has a much better run home than the other two.
Sounds good but what about Thompson? All nice and cleared and more to play for? Tigers dream is over will that effect player performance?
Oh that could b real good! Then I can finish the midfield next week.. Oh DC I think ur onto something
If you want to take risks or looking for players who just might hit some form, he are a couple of options: 1) Wells and Boomer 2)N Roo and Scotty T 3)NDS and Pearce(Freo)/Sidebottom All are quite risky but you want to be looking at teams who are fighting for a finals spot or players that have already been rested (that's why Scott Thompson is risky). I would go for Option 3 personally. My 2 cents
I found if I take Fyfe/Sidebum this week, I'll have 465 for a mid next week. Any ideas on a mid for 465K?

Quote from Gonaddz on July 31, 2012, 15:47 Any ideas on a mid for 465K?
Brent Stanton Rockcliff might be cheap enough next week if he has a bad game. Maybe Scotty Selwood from WC or Ryan Griffin from the doggies. But seriously Stants just may finish the year as strongly as he started!!!
Stants could be the go next week but see how things go with prices next week! My mate needs all the help he can get so thank you all for throwing your 2 cents in! Really Really came in handy!
