Assuming he gets picked, which is likely, do you reckon he'll be eased back in, maybe even used as a sub?

    There's a few reasons I ask:

    1) The Hawks clearly don't need him right now.
    2) No point risking another injury before finals.
    3) I need to win this weekend, so I need to know whether to pick him.

PS. I only give a toss about point 3.

Just read on HS that he will most likely be rested again this week and be back against the GC so he will have 3 games before the final series

Every single team I have seen has Buddy, so league wins are actually not affected unless you have zero coverage. I reckon depth of coverage leading into the silly season is the bigger talking point IMO.

MPP's like Zorko and Treloar worth their weight in gold I reckon this time of year.

    Cheers for the update guys.

I heard he'd be back for Geelong (supposedly his words) so I'll wait and see.

My opponent doesn't have Franklin and I've got plenty of coverage so I'm not too worried about that.

Although one is Crameri. Maybe I should be!

I heard he was being sent back to Box Hill. Hahahaha But seriously I'm happy I traded him when I did.

Either way I'm not fussed, I've got Goodes as a D8/M7 for coverage in events such as TheOnion said, most teams have him on the bench so I've not really missed him. Well, I've missed him, but it hasn't hurt me.

I see him being named but a huge chance for late withdrawal, but at least with the Friday night game you get to see how it goes. I don't see him being subbed if he does play, though. Not with the way the Hawks have faded out against Geelong in recent games, they'll keep their A-Team on the park for the full game I'd imagine.

    My thoughts:
If you absolutely can't win without him and you absolutely need to win for finals and he's not named, then trade him, if not, keep him.
