Charlies Opening 1017 defeated by Darraweit Guim 1414
The Opening are stumbling to the line, having lost their last 2 and were hoping to atone for it against top 4 side Darraweit, however it was not to be. Big games from Nick Nat Paddywhack (133), Ben McGlynn (130) and Rance (125) put paid to any hopes the Spelunkers had.

The Hoff (120) and Evaaaaahn Maric (115) also put on shows for Chelsea to offer a selection of all shapes, sizes, complexions and levels of hirsuteness in her search for a suitor.
The Spelunkers only had two players ton up, those being Jack (110) and Savage (104), again selection hurt with Hooker (64) starting on the ground whilst Grundy (105) sat on the bench

Nunawading Nuffers 1008 defeated by Powlett Plains 1201
The Raptors gave us all a taste of what is to come in the years ahead, with an under development squad taking out the win at Whitehorse Rd. Young bloods Toby Greene (117) and Tom Lynch (100) led the way for the pack, with a couple of older times in Carrots and Lachie Henderson getting 103 a piece as well.

Simpson (105), Daisy (101) and JPK (100) performed admirably for Nuna, but Sam Rowe (30) didn't respond well to the spotlight thrown on him by coach Andy during the week and the Nuffers forward line was simply awful. The rumour was that the Nuffers cheerleaders forgot their bloomers and the distraction of a handstand for a mark in the forward 50 was too much for the Nunawading forwards to handle.

Wagga Wagga 1109 defeated by Mount Beauty 1162
Bama must be rubbing his hands together looking at the young players starting to cut their teeth.
Bugg, Viney, Wingard all show potential… but it was the more better known stars of the Uglies like Ellis (142), Hartlett (139) and Sidebottom (130) that brought home the chocolates against the more fancied wombats. Having square poo has its advantages, but the Wombats needed more out of players like Pittard (22) to have any chance of a top 4 finish, but those hopes were dashed.

Lovely Banks 1305 defeated by Foul Bay 1494
The Lilacs are starting to bloom, and they pushed the reigning premiers hard in this contest. Adcock, Duncan, Caddy, Pyke and Edwards all tonned up, to make the Chooks (and the blokes at ChiefBet who had the line a little further out) sweat a bit.
But the wet weather suited the mud duck Bartel, with usual suspects Vince, Selwood, Judd, Libba, Roughie and Tomahawk coming home with the points. Those who doubt Lovely Banks will be a big improvers next year may well be seen eating a fair serve of humble pie soon enough.

Birdsville 1281 defeated Larrikin Lagoon 1017
No massive scores for the Battlers, more a good all round team effort to get them over the line against the Lefties. With a top score of only 107 from Cloke you would think it would have been struggle, but with 11 players scoring over 80 it was a good team effort. The Lefties will need to bring their mouthguards to training this week, especially Thompson (46), Sam Lloyd (38), Mzungu (35) and Jake Lloyd (25). Birdsville may have just done enough with this win to lock up 8th position.

Gundagai 1321 defeated Cradle Mountain 1164
6th vs 18th should have been a one sided contest, but sNoZ pulled out all of the guns and actually managed to get a full side on the ground. Even the late withdrawal of Sam Mitchell due to his Foxtel box taping The Bachelor instead of The Recruit didn't halt the Hoppers chalking up their second win of the year.
Lenny (155) went large after finding out the Chelsea was going to wear an I love Lenny” t-shirt in the bar after the game, and he was ably supported by Rockliff, Neale, Sandilands and Taylor Adams. Jack Martin showed glimpses that he will be a jet and sNoZ sat back and laughed maniacally.
For Cradle Mountain it was a below standard performance pretty much across the team, with all players down on their averages except for Hurley and Shiels.

Venus Bay 1276 defeated Gariwerd 1179
Fitzy held onto a slim chance of making finals with a hard fought win over the Cockies. Beams (141), Gaff (125), Parker (129) and Howe (112) all led the way, with Xavier Ellis (23) the only real disappointment.
For Gariwerd coach Ant Lids (132) and Bundy Christensen (113) held their own, but the spotlight will be thrown onto Tippet and Robbie Gray, who had stinkers, and Koby Stevens who was deluded into thinking he could play in the ruck.

Marble Bar 993 defeated by Iron Knob 1435
16 in a row for the runaway flag favourities, taking a depleted Misfits side to the cleaners and bringing them back freshly pressed, starched and on hangers.
No Ablett, who cares as the Codpieces had 13 players over 80, with 6 over a ton. Even Jarrad Waite got into the party, showing that even reserve players go large when selected in the Iron Knob firsts. The Misfits can't wait for seasons end, where the careers of a few will come under threat.

    Waikickamoocow 1349 defeated Whitsunday 1330
The Trans-Tasman classic for the heart of Chelsea Roffey was a close fought tussle with both teams trading blows. It descended into total chaos however with three minutes remaining and the Cows ahead by 5 points, when a streaker, a balding Australian expat residing in Thailand, ran 120m from the western end of the arena with a corned beef sandwich in his hands to interrupt play, and attempt to abduct Chelsea Roffey manning the goal at the Ekatahuna end of the ground.
He was tackled by security as play went on around them. It was utterly bizarre watching players running past security on the field of play during one of ORFFA's showpiece events. Whitsunday actually scored a beautiful long range goal through General Patton at that moment but it was disallowed because of the impact the streaker had on play.
Play was suspended while up to six security guards held the streaker down. He was eventually escorted from the field with a blanket wrapped around him.

Teen Wolf Fyfe went massive with a 171, ably supported by McVeigh, Crouch, Sauce Jacobs and Jack Ziebell. The Warriors quartet of Birchall, Sloane, Barlow and Lobbe did their best but the team from the land of the long white cloud came out victors and celebrated with a spot of pig shooting and a game of kerplunk.
